Rian the Alien showed incredible pace once more in Alphatauri by showing no weakness all race. Rothnz was able to keep the lead in championship by coming second in his Alpine. Selecta filled podium in McLaren to give us the same podium with last week, albeit in different order... The Alphatauri began the race in front line with Rian leading, beginning on softs while Haggi was on mediums. They showed unbelievable pace and by using the DRS in turn, they were already 10 seconds ahead of the pack when the first SC came in at Lap 9. Rian had already changed for mediums the lap before, while Haggi made an unorthodox choice of fitting another set of mediums during SC. They continued their happy lead ahead of the pack within each others’ DRS until Haggi had to pit for mandatory set of softs. Selecta dominated China GP in McLaren bringing him his first race win in A1881 after 13 Seasons of dedication! Rianc the Alien followed him second in Alphatauri. Rothnz filled the podium with Alpine… Selecta began on pole with an intimading time and already showed he ain’t jokin when he was able to keep Rianc behind despite having the tyre disadvantage. Rianc was able to make the first undercut work nicely but couldn’t possibly guess Selecta’s last stint on softs would never fall off. Rothnz the GOAT added another one to his and Alpine tally of wins, this time denying a new race winner, Naedangerdavid in Aston. Rianc followed them in third to fill the podium… Qualifying went under mixed conditions and Haggi was the one at the top with inters after the last laps in Q3. Rothnz was again disappointing in quali and had to start at P14. Once more things went exactly as he needed. Naedangerdavid was leading by almost 4 seconds after the exit of second SC and at that point Rothnz seemed to have no chance on a win, after losing time while battling Rian and Burtay. Sir Ibbo’s retirement at L31 brought the classic A1881 late SC in and David decided to stay on track on his worn mediums, together with Rian and Rollie on hards. Rothnz demontstrated what being a GOAT means and showed a stunning performance to win the opener of Season 13 with Alpine. Champion Haggisnt followed him in Alphatauri, ahead of AdamLindberg in Williams… Rothnz disqualified in Q1 to start the race at the back of the grid, while Burtay started the race on pole in RedBull. Rothnz had a slow but steady climb throughout the race and last SC coming in only 8 laps to go brought him inside the winning scene. After an exciting finale, Haggisnt grabs his fourth win this season, and with it A1881 Season 12 championship crown. Congratulations! His rocket teammate Adam completed Alphatauri double while Bhavish reached his first podium in A1881 in his Ferrari! After the race to reclaim his crown with the slowest car on grid, Haggisnt said: This was a very fun race for me. After a mistake in qualifying I took the aggressive 2 stop and hoped maybe a safety car or Rian battling would help out and the first safety car coming out 2 laps before my pit window was a miracle. After that I was always on the better tyre than Rian and after some dodgy in game penalties and a mistake from Rian coming out the pits somehow I’ve kept my crow . Man what a season though.
