RIANC CONTINUES WINNING EVERY RACE HE FINISHES, THIS TIME ON SUZUKA…

Image
Rianc in Alpine showed his superiority this time in a race with dazzling track conditions, making him the winner of every race he finished this season… Championship leader Forrest in Alfa followed him to sustain his lead in standings, at least for one more week. Selecta clinched his second podium with McLaren this season by coming third... Suzuka GP hosted the strangest of track conditions, with light rain going on throughout the %100 race, leaving DRS open and slicks and inters on very close performance. Rianc saved himself from possible mess by clinching pole by distance, and after Haggisnt’ retirement, he led majority of race, interrupted by his brave decision to sacrifice track position and go for softs in final laps. Rianc: “Yea it was quite a difficult race, I felt pretty quick in the dry and happily I got pole. The race was a wet race and that was my first time doing a wet race around Japan so I was a bit nervous to see what my pace was like. I lost the lead on the start to Hagg...

RIANC SURVIVES THE SINGAPORE CARNAGE ON TOP DESPITE QUALI BAN….

Image
Rianc of Alpine won Singapore GP under wet conditions and with a quali ban, in a comfortable way ahead of Rothnz in Williams. Forrest Jump in Alfa Romeo filled the podium ahead of his teammate Cajoco once more… Singapore GP saw the most disasterous race in A1881 history,  with more than half of the grid eggplanted, while most of the usual suspects of podium didn’t seem to bother at all. Rianc began the race at the back of the grid due to his quali ban, but had a safe and decisive approach, taking the lead soon after halfpoint of the race and increasing the gap steadily over the rest. He gave us a somewhat coolheaded interview after another remarkable performance: Rianc: “Yea it was pretty much all about surviving the first few laps and trying to make my way forward after serving a quali ban, the few safety cars disrupted the flow a bit but the last one worked in my favour, I’d wing damage up until lap 15-16 whenever the last safety car came out so I pitted for fresh inters and a ne...

FORREST JUMP CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY BY LEADING ALFA ROMEO DOUBLE ON IMOLA, DESPITE HAVING SMALLER BALLS THAN HIS TEAMMATE…

Forrest Jump clinched his long-awaited first victory in A1881, ahead of his teammate Cajoco… Selecta filled the podium with McLaren after a long while… Forrest Jump has been chasing a podium since his first day in A1881, but waited for the perfect moment to clinch it on the most meaningful day, as a birthday present to himself. He was the only driver to start on hard compound in the front pack, and Butcher’s retirement on L17 brought the SC with perfect timing for hard runners. He switched to mediums and skipped the last SC by staying on track and then climbed steadily on top in the remaining laps, to make him give his first interview. And he kept it much shorter than his teammate’s first interview. Forrest: About the race well i was tempted to go S-M but as we kept going there was no SC in sight and the second i turned into the box, Bernd hit the pedal… Reporter: With this win bringing you on top in WDC, can we say that you're on your way to dethrone your teammate? Forrest: I thin...

RIANC WINS THE OPENER ON MONZA TO PLACE HIMSELF AND ALPINE ON TOP!

Last season’s miracle drives in Alphatauri continues for Rianc, in Alpine this season. Vithjalmen was the chaser in podium, giving us a similar pace to Rianc’s last season, in Alphatauri. Tazer brought Mercedes to the last step of podium, while claiming the fastest lap too… Race began with Tazer on pole after his incredible quali time, ahead of Rianc. After the first quarter of the race where there was several shuffling of grid due to incidents and safety cars, Rianc was able to sustain his superiour pace throughout the race, to bring himself his first win this season: “I changed the setup last minute so I wasn’t 100% confident with how the car felt going into quali, I would’ve liked to have gotten pole but a great lap from Tazer left me with P2, I had a decent start holding position but a safety car came out lap 1 so I decided to pit to go on to the mediums but I got caught in the middle of the pack in battles and broke my wing so I had to pit again and change the wing so I went har...
