Rianc in Alpine showed his superiority this time in a race with dazzling track conditions, making him the winner of every race he finished this season… Championship leader Forrest in Alfa followed him to sustain his lead in standings, at least for one more week. Selecta clinched his second podium with McLaren this season by coming third... Suzuka GP hosted the strangest of track conditions, with light rain going on throughout the %100 race, leaving DRS open and slicks and inters on very close performance. Rianc saved himself from possible mess by clinching pole by distance, and after Haggisnt’ retirement, he led majority of race, interrupted by his brave decision to sacrifice track position and go for softs in final laps.
