RIAN WINS COMFORTABLY ON HIS OWN CHOICE OF VEGAS!
Rian the Alien showed incredible pace once more in Alphatauri by showing no weakness all race. Rothnz was able to keep the lead in championship by coming second in his Alpine. Selecta filled podium in McLaren to give us the same podium with last week, albeit in different order...
The Alphatauri began the race in front line with Rian
leading, beginning on softs while Haggi was on mediums. They showed
unbelievable pace and by using the DRS in turn, they were already 10 seconds
ahead of the pack when the first SC came in at Lap 9. Rian had already changed for mediums the lap before, while Haggi made an unorthodox choice of fitting
another set of mediums during SC. They continued their happy lead ahead of the
pack within each others’ DRS until Haggi had to pit for mandatory set of softs.
Rian after this point only needed to bring it home safe, which he did after
a long while, giving him his first win after Bahrain last season. He couldn't
make it to the interview unfortunately, possibly due to partying hard after his
win.
After Haggisnt’s mandatory pitting, Selecta and Rothnz gave the fight
for P2 and Rothnz had the upper hand having DRS in his disposal in last lap.
This made him keep his comfortable lead in standings, while Selecta getting
closer to the front pack in championship after his second consecutive podium.
Burtay in RedBull had good pace but the SC entered in the
not so right moment for hard runners, so had to settle for 4th. Haggisnt
managed to limit damage by reaching P5 despite his 5s penalty and wrong
strategy. He was followed by Rollie in Mercedes, getting almost best of what he could possibly
from this race. Naedangerdavid in Aston cut the chicane while trying not to
give Rollie the DRS in last lap, which resulted him receive a 10 seconds
penalty and fall behind to P7 inevitably. Bhavish had the upper hand over his
teammate in Ferrari, after an incident with Fameinerth which cost himself a wing
and many places to Fameinerth, but eventually finished in a not so bad
position. Dan followed his teammate in P9, believing for a brief moment that he could
get Rollie. Hehehehe. Adam was also involved in an incident which cost a lot to
him, making him settle for P11, yet still claiming the fastest lap. Tvoje had
good pace but somehow he found a way to finish close to his average position,
P11. Sir Ibbo in Haas had many spins and unlucky moments bu still had the honor
of not becoming the last driver alive on track, leaving that title to
Varea in Alfa Romeo this time.
Inginne, Tbran and Fameinerth were all eggplanted.
