Season 18 of A1881 delivered another thrilling chapter in league history, with AA_Mejg clinching his third consecutive World Drivers’ Championship and Alpine comfortably securing the Constructors’ crown . From Australia to the dramatic season finale at Imola, this campaign was packed with weather chaos, on-track drama, and tight margins in both championship fights... AA_Mejg’s season was the epitome of excellence and control. Despite the rotating handicaps of the CAS system, he not only remained competitive but avoided key mistakes under pressure — most notably at Imola, where he was the only driver to finish without a single track limits penalty. His decision to slow down on the final lap and gift the win to teammate Endru capped off Alpine’s dominance and highlighted his maturity as both champion and team player. With this achievement, AA_Mejg becomes only the second driver in A1881 history to win three titles in a row , joining RothNz (Seasons 6–8) in that elite club. He now stand...

AA_MEJG HOLDS CROWN AS ENDRU WINS SEASON FINALE AT IMOLA!

Season 18 came to an unforgettable close at Imola, as Endru took victory for Alpine in a tactical masterclass, with teammate AA_Mejg finishing second and clinching his third consecutive Drivers’ Championship title. VisaRB’s Jordan rounded out the podium in third, recovering from a costly drive-through penalty but ultimately falling short in the title fight. Alpine’s dominant 1-2 capped off a spectacular campaign for the French outfit, who had already secured the Constructors’ Championship one round earlier. In one of the most iconic moments of the season, Mejg, the only driver not to receive any track limits penalties across 100% race distance, slowed on the final lap to allow Endru—who had racked up 12 seconds of penalties—to cross the line first. It was a sportsmanlike gesture to commemorate the team’s strength and unity throughout the season. “Had a decent qualifying to start P3, good start to keep position and then VSC came on and when it finished there was a beautiful Drive Throug...

JORDAN WINS IN MEXICO AS ALPINE CLINCHES WCC TITLE

Round 9 of Season 18 delivered yet another thrilling spectacle, this time at the high-altitude Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, where Jordan took a composed and strategic win in mixed conditions. The VisaRB driver led home Alpine’s Endru and Ferrari’s Javinwain in a race that began dry but transformed into a wet-weather chess match after lap 10. While Jordan’s title hopes remain alive, Alpine’s celebrations began early, as the French outfit clinched the World Constructors’ Championship with one round to spare. From pole, Jordan controlled the opening laps under dry skies. But by lap 10, rain clouds gathered and the race turned on its head. While the full wet tyres initially appeared to be the safer call, it quickly became clear that the inters were just as capable—if not more efficient—on the greasy surface. This created a pivotal split among the frontrunners: AA_Mejg opted for full wets, while Jordan and both his eventual podium companions chose inters. It proved to be a race-defining de...

The streets of Miami witnessed a thrilling battle in Round 8 of Season 18, as VisaRB’s Jordan stormed to his third victory of the season, holding off championship leader AA_Mejg in the Alpine and a resurgent Tvoje_mamkacz in the Aston Martin. With just two rounds remaining, the fight for the WDC is still alive... Jordan started from pole and made the most of it despite chaos unfolding around him. His strategy gamble paid off, and even though he suffered underbody damage after incidents involving both McLarens, he managed to stay composed and cross the line first. AA_Mejg once again finished right behind him in second, continuing his streak of top results but allowing Jordan to close the gap in the title fight. Aston Martin’s Tvoje_mamkacz rounded off the podium, driving an assertive race from P9 on the grid to third, pushing hard to claim his second podium of the season. “Well the race was nice, had to find the flow in the race and safety cars kinda mixed things up. I tried a different...
