“TITLE IS EVEN NICER WHEN I DETHRONE CAJOCO” SAYS RIANC AFTER CLAIMING HIS FIRST A1881 TITLE WITH A WIN IN MEXICO!

Image
Rianc of Alpine clinched the crown over his countryman’s head by winning comfortably in Mexico GP. He was followed by Haggisnt, who had amazing pace in Haas once more. Valward reached his first podium in A1881 as a full time in his Alfa Romeo, after dramatic retirement of Gordini in last turn… Rianc took pole with a very slight margin over Haggisnt and capitalised on that throughout the race, keeping himself away from trouble and increasing the gap steadily. He went for softs by giving away track position when there were 9 laps to go but still managed to climb swiftly and claim his first title in A1881. With this win he kept his incredible stats of winning every race he finished this season and gave himself a chance to equalize with Rothnz’s all time record of maximum number of races won in a season (8), if he wins the last race in Brazil too. He was especially happy for winning by dethroning his countryman Cajoco: Rianc: “Thank you, yea it’s great to win my first title here in A1881 a...

RIANC CONTINUES WINNING ON USA WITH TOTAL DOMINATION…

Image
Rianc won USA GP with another dominant performance in Alpine. Cajoco followed him to keep Alfa Romeo in WCC lead. Gordini reached his third podium in a row with McLaren… Rianc had once more an incredible quali time to clinch pole. Gordini gave him a hard time until the first SC but he had better pace on his second stint which was interrupted by 2 more safety cars. Last SC entered when there were 9 laps to run and the front runners led by Rothnz skipped the opportunity to pit for track position, while Rianc did the brave move and fitted softs. He climbed above safe and steady, to keep his record of winning every race he finished this season. Then he immediately went back to the pub to watch the real race and we weren’t able to interview him this time. Good going Rianc 🍻 Cajoco and Gordini were the others to fill the podium just like last race in Qatar, only they switched positions this time and Cajoco was ahead. This brought champion Cajoco to P3 in standings, 9 points above Vithjalmen...

RIANC EXTENDS HIS LEAD WITH A GRAND SLAM ON BAHRAIN GP

Image
Rianc won in Alpine in an even more dominant fashion this time. He was followed by Gordini reaching his first podium in McLaren. Cajoco helped Alfa Romeo sustain the lead in WCC by coming third… After last week’s disappointing retirement, Rianc seemed determined to save himself from any possible trouble by clinching a very comfortable pole and increasing the gap to even let him pit without losing any positions. Irishman kept his incredible stats of winning every race he finished this season, sending strong signals of dethroning his fellow countryman Cajoco... Rianc: Yea quali was pretty good, in the end my first lap of q3 did the job and the race was just a lot of managing as the lads behind got caught up in some battling so I was able to build up quite a big gap,  I wanted to be the last out of the medium runners to pit incase I got caught up with a safety car or anything, so I pit off of the mediums to go onto the hards on the end of the lap 17, fortunately I just about came back...

ROTHNZ THE GOAT REMEMBERS WHAT WINNING FEELS LIKE ON QATAR GP!

Image
Rothnz the tapeguy earned his first win this season in Williams on Qatar GP with Selecta finishing second due to his time penalty, despite finishing ahead on track. Haggisnt also clinched his first podium in his strongest track… Rothnz didn’t have an incredible quali but once more had the better of strategies and a bit of luck to remind him of his dominating seasons. Selecta was very much like finally clinching this one, to give him his first career in in A1881, but the time penalty combined with Altan’s cringe effort to unlap himself postponed the win. Rothnz put himself in P3 in WDC after this and surely back into the fight he feels comfortable in, just ahead of the Bahrain GP, which he picked himself: “Yes, wow! Finally. It feels so good to finally be up here, it was so long time ago. I can’t hide that all the stars aligned today. I mean, I had decent pace and kept away from penalties. But true pace i was maybe 5-6 as i qualied. But all top drivers got some sort of damage or...

RIANC TOPS HIMSELF AND ALPINE ON STANDINGS WITH A WIN ON PORTUGAL GP!

Image
Rianc secured another impressive win in Alpine, to place himself and his team on top in standings. Leegoat was the only serious threat to him in Haas, grabbing a well deserved second place in podium. Selecta was once more on the last step of podium in his McLaren… Rianc got pole with an annoying time for others. He had a contact in T1 and fell back to P9, after which he had to deal with risky situations in which he also received wing damage, after his contact with Vithjalmen. Despite damage he was able to keep himself behind the top cars’ DRS distance. After pits he switched to mediums relatively early but climbed above steadily, claiming P1 from Leegoat around Lap 24. Leegoat didn’t give up easy and was in his DRS until last 3 laps, but was unable to get more. Here’s another interview of Rianc which we seem to get used to: Rianc: “Yea quali was great, to get pole by a second is quite nice, unfortunately i spun on the first lap of the race and then I got wing damage a little later on i...
