INTERLAGOS DELIVERS CHAOS AND A SURPRISE VICTOR AS AA_MEJG TAKES COMMAND

Image
When the lights went out at Interlagos under grey skies and standing water, few would have predicted the Haas of Mejg as the car that would dominate the afternoon. But in a race marked by a chaotic wet start, a strategic crossover window that split the field, a record penalty count, and a last-lap battle for second that came down to three car lengths, the unassuming Haas driver delivered a lesson in composure. He won by nine and a half seconds. It wasn’t even close. Qualifying: An Unlikely Pole The qualifying sessions set the stage for the drama that would follow. Bobow was the story of Saturday, muscling his Aston Martin to pole position – a remarkable result for a team rarely seen at the sharp end. Behind him, Bards' Williams took second with VLC_JustinB lining up third for Sauber, while the eventual race winner AA_MEJG_ZZ settled for a quiet P4 in his Haas. The big casualties came in the midfield. Both Red Bull Racing entries – SCR_FTronc and Yeshurrun –...

MEJG REIGNS IN BAKU AS HAAS SECURES DOMINANT 1–3

Image
AA_Mejg led home Justin and Rian in a stop-start Azerbaijan Grand Prix that saw three safety cars, split strategies, and a late dash to the flag define the race in Baku.   Starting from pole after mastering tricky, changeable qualifying conditions, Mejg controlled much of the race in his Haas. The opening laps were surprisingly calm around the tight streets, with the only early flashpoint coming when Tvoje_mamkacz suffered wheelspin exiting Turn 3 and slid into the wall, collecting Rollie in the process. Both picked up early damage and were forced into first-lap stops, ruining their hopes of stretching the hard tyre deep into the race. What followed was a race heavily shaped by neutralisations. Yeshurrun’s error into the pits did the earlier interruption. Charldinho, running strongly near the front for Ferrari, clipped the wall in the narrow castle section and triggered the last safety car.  In total, nine laps were spent behind the safety car, leaving just 17 laps of proper ...

JUSTIN STORMS FROM P10 TO WIN AT MIAMI!

Image
Justin took a stunning victory at the Miami Grand Prix, leading home Rian and Jordan on the podium after a chaotic, safety-car-free race that was largely defined by Turn 3 mayhem and wildly split strategies. Starting only tenth, the KICK Sauber driver carved his way through the field with calm execution and pace, while Rian’s Haas and Jordan’s other KICK Sauber completed a podium that reshuffled the early title picture yet again. The race exploded at Turn 3 on lap one. Two separate three-wide moments — first between Mejg, SV5 and NaeDangerDavid, then immediately after involving Gordini, SV5 and Scaparro — ended with Gordini spinning and a chain reaction behind. Several cars picked up damage, but remarkably there was no safety car, something that would haunt a few drivers later on. Rollie was one of the biggest victims, losing his front wing in the chaos and being forced to pit on lap one, committing him to a long and compromised race from there. Justin was one of the few who threaded t...

JORDAN STRIKES BACK AT MONZA AS CHAOS RULES THE SEASON 22 SPRINT WEEKEND

Image
Jordan, AA_Mejg and SV5-3787 were the three names on the podium at Monza, but the Italian Grand Prix of Season 22 Round 2 will be remembered far more for its reshuffled grid with three safety cars... Jordan converted pole into a crucial win for KICK Sauber, dragging himself straight back into the title conversation after a turbulent opener. Mejg followed him home in second with Haas, backing up his sprint win earlier in the day, while SV5 secured third for VisaRB to keep his championship momentum rolling despite a far messier race than Jeddah. The sprint itself had already set the tone: Mejg took the win ahead of Jordan and Rian, and Monza with sprint conditions was asking for trouble. The main race barely settled before the safety cars began stacking up, starting with SCR_FTronc retiring at the exit of Ascari on lap 7 after earlier contact with his Red Bull teammate into Turn 1 and carrying damage beforehand. Jordan managed the restarts well and kept his nose clean through the madness...
