MONACO MADNESS: JUSTIN DOMINATES THE COCKPIT CAM CHAOS

Image
Justin took a sensational victory on the streets of Monaco, leading home AA Mejg and SV5-3787 in one of the most unusual and chaotic races in A1881 history. The Round 7 race of Season 21 will be remembered as the first ever forced cockpit cam event, and it had its say in the competitive order... From the opening laps, it was clear that Justin, racing as a reserve for Haas, was in a league of his own. While others struggled to adapt to the limited visibility of cockpit cam, he controlled the race from pole, never looking under threat. By the chequered flag, he had lapped every driver from P6 downwards and crossed the line a staggering 38 seconds ahead of Mejg in the VisaRB, sealing a grand slam and the most dominant win the league has ever seen. Behind him, AA Mejg delivered a calm and damage-limiting drive for Racing Bulls, banking crucial points while his title rival Jordan suffered a nightmare weekend and clinched the lead of the championship with only three races to go. MEJG HOLDS HIS NERVE AT BARCELONA AS RACING BULLS LOCK OUT SPAIN GP

Image
AA_Mejg took victory at the Spanish GP ahead of Jordan and SV5-3787, completing a tense VisaRB one-two with Mercedes right on their gearbox. From the opening stint to the final two-lap showdown, the podium trio were inseparable, setting the tone for one of the most nervous races of the season so far... Starting second on the grid, Mejg kept it clean off the line and quickly settled into a race-long duel with Jordan in the sister VisaRB. The two swapped the lead multiple times before a safety car reset the field, and from there it became a tyre and nerve management exercise under constant pressure from SV5’s Mercedes. With puncture warnings appearing late and margins razor-thin, the fight stayed alive all the way to the chequered flag, where Mejg finally sealed his first win of the season. Mejg interview: “Thanks! Solid qualifying lap which put me in P2 for the race. I had a decent start where I kept my position. Swapped with Jordan for P1 a couple of times before the safety car came ou...

ABU DHABI GP: RIAN THE ALIEN CONQUERS YAS MARINA AND ENDS VISA RB STRANGLEHOLD

Image
Rian delivered Alpine’s first win of the season by beating Jordan and AA_Mejg on the floodlit straights of Yas Marina, denying VisaRB another one-two for the first time this year. The Irishman, who started from twelfth, joined Jordan and AA_Mejg on the podium after two Safety Cars and a split in tire strategies turned the final stint into a high-pressure shootout. It also marks the first time this season that the Racing Bulls haven’t stamped their authority over the front of the field. From a risky qualifying gamble to a reverse-strategy hard-hard approach, Rian played the long game while the VisaRB duo tripped over each other. Jordan attacked relentlessly after the final restart, but could never fully break free, while AA_Mejg once again slipped behind his teammate, solidifying his rather uncomfortable reputation as the second driver of the team despite being the reigning champion... Rian: “Haha well to be honest it wasn’t that eventful 😂. Qualifying I just had no pace but still too...

RACING BULLS VACUUM: JORDAN SUCKS THE GRID DRY WITH ANOTHER QATAR CLEAN-SWEEP

Image
The Losail night sky saw Jordan extend his VisaRB dominance once again, beating teammate AA_Mejg and Mercedes star SV5-3787 to seal yet another win this season. With three safety-car-heavy races behind us, Qatar finally offered a steadier rhythm — though not without the classic A1881 signature chaos that Ironghost gleefully narrated, after discovering the game had accidentally spawned his own AI onto the track. Jordan once again proved unstoppable. After another outrageous pole lap, he kept the lead from lights to flag and pulled off a championship-calibre masterclass by running hard tyres all the way to the end of this 57-lap slog, while his crowned wingman Mejg safely reached P2 by not receiving any penalty, continuing the team's streak of doubles all season. A late charge from Rian in the Alpine had fans hopeful for an upset, but a costly 10-second pit-lane speeding penalty wiped out any chance of stealing the win. SV5 kept himself within striking distance of the VisaRBs, showin...
