RIANC CONTINUES WINNING EVERY RACE HE FINISHES, THIS TIME ON SUZUKA…

Rianc in Alpine showed his superiority this time in a race with dazzling track conditions, making him the winner of every race he finished this season… Championship leader Forrest in Alfa followed him to sustain his lead in standings, at least for one more week. Selecta clinched his second podium with McLaren this season by coming third...

Suzuka GP hosted the strangest of track conditions, with light rain going on throughout the %100 race, leaving DRS open and slicks and inters on very close performance. Rianc saved himself from possible mess by clinching pole by distance, and after Haggisnt’ retirement, he led majority of race, interrupted by his brave decision to sacrifice track position and go for softs in final laps.

Rianc: “Yea it was quite a difficult race, I felt pretty quick in the dry and happily I got pole. The race was a wet race and that was my first time doing a wet race around Japan so I was a bit nervous to see what my pace was like. I lost the lead on the start to Haggis and from then on it was just about trying to stick with him which wasn’t easy at all he seemed to adapt to the wet weather very quickly, unfortunately for haggis he made a slight mistake which allowed me to get back ahead. It was safety car heaven for the first 20 laps and by the time the last safety car came out on lap 27 I pit to put my final set of intermediates on, I thought I’d be able to bring the inters to the end but after a few laps I quickly realized the track was somewhat drying up and was causing the inters to overheat and the tyrewear was very high. I was left with a tough decision to make by either trying to nurse the tires to the end or pit for slicks which a few had already done but the pace seemed to be very similar between the slick and inter. So I decided to pit on to softs on lap 44 which put me down to p6 from p1, thankfully the soft had a lot of grip and I was catching the cars ahead by about 4 seconds a lap and once I overtook the cars ahead again it was just about managing to bring it back.

Reporter: How do you see your title chances over Forrest?

Rianc: Yea I’m hopeful for the championship but forest_jump is a very consistent and quick driver so it’s not going to be easy at all, I’m just taking it race by race

Forrest finished the race ahead of Selecta in P2, thanks to Selecta’s 3s penalty. This kept Forrest in lead in WDC, only 4 points above Rianc. Selecta reached his second podium, making him reach podium in all races he finished this season.

In fourth we had Leegoat in Haas, giving him his best result this season. He was followed by Vithjalmen in Alphatauri, keeping his third place in WDC, despite having a quali ban to overcome. Gordini finished his first race this season in McLaren with P6, getting rid of the curse and three eggplants at once. Champion Cajoco helped keep his team on top in WCC by coming seventh. Valward wildcarded for Mrmccann in Mercedes and brought his car eight to finish line. Rothnz and Rollie had a 30 laps battle of dummies together and as usual Rothnz was the winner by coming 9th. Rollie was just happy to finish a %100 race, in P10. Behind him was Burtay who reserved for Ferrari after a long while. Elgogetaman survived another tough race and showed his improvement. Last driver alive on track was guess who? Yes you’re right. The monument of consistency Sir Ibbo came 13th, keeping him above the likes of Leegoat, Haggisnt, Gordini and Kingdom in WDC, showing consistency matters.

Altan, Haggisnt, Kingdom, Dan, Tazer, Cmrcnn and Kragish were all eggplanted.

We are heading to Portugal GP next Sunday on A1881, because Leegoat wanted to torture people…
