RIANC SURVIVES THE SINGAPORE CARNAGE ON TOP DESPITE QUALI BAN….

Rianc of Alpine won Singapore GP under wet conditions and with a quali ban, in a comfortable way ahead of Rothnz in Williams. Forrest Jump in Alfa Romeo filled the podium ahead of his teammate Cajoco once more…

Singapore GP saw the most disasterous race in A1881 history,  with more than half of the grid eggplanted, while most of the usual suspects of podium didn’t seem to bother at all. Rianc began the race at the back of the grid due to his quali ban, but had a safe and decisive approach, taking the lead soon after halfpoint of the race and increasing the gap steadily over the rest. He gave us a somewhat coolheaded interview after another remarkable performance:

Rianc: “Yea it was pretty much all about surviving the first few laps and trying to make my way forward after serving a quali ban, the few safety cars disrupted the flow a bit but the last one worked in my favour, I’d wing damage up until lap 15-16 whenever the last safety car came out so I pitted for fresh inters and a new wing and still came out in a net p4 and then it was all about getting by Cajoco, Rothnz and Vithjalmen, thankfully was able to get by cleanly and quickly pull out a gap and from then on it was just about managing and bringing the car home”

Rothnz clinched his first podium this season, which helped his steady climb in standings. Forrest was third, after his impressive win last race and continued his lead in WDC.  He was followed by his teammate Cajoco, filling his teammates rear mirror with his bigger balls, also helping his team to stay on top in WCC. Vithjalmen finished P5 with his Alphatauri, despite having a damaged car whole race after a controversial contact with Cajoco.  Behind him in P6 was Altan in Aston, giving the best of his Fanatec under wet conditions. He was followed by Mrmccann in Mercedes, showing big commitment to bring the car to finish in such a dramatic race. Sir Ibbo was the last driver alive on track but reached one of his best results of his A1881 career with P8, last one was another P8 on Australia in Season 2...

No need to count the names of the eggplanted, since they are less than the non-eggplanted. It’s all the full time names who haven’t been mentioned above, except Butcher who eggplanted himself as a wildcard present to full time ImFOE.

The excitement and pain in A1881 will continue on %100 length Suzuka next Sunday…
