RIANC WINS THE OPENER ON MONZA TO PLACE HIMSELF AND ALPINE ON TOP!

“I changed the setup last minute so I wasn’t 100% confident
with how the car felt going into quali, I would’ve liked to have gotten pole
but a great lap from Tazer left me with P2, I had a decent start holding
position but a safety car came out lap 1 so I decided to pit to go on to the
mediums but I got caught in the middle of the pack in battles and broke my wing
so I had to pit again and change the wing so I went hards to bring me to the
end of the race, I was then leading after others pit and fortunately another
safety car came out so I pit for mediums while only losing 1 positions. It was
a decent battle after the safety car but in the end I was able to build a gap
to P2 and just bring the car back in one piece…”
This win put the title contender Rianc and his team Alpine
on top. Vithjalmen was the most impressive driver of the grid together with
Rianc, bringing a solid P2 to Alphatauri… Season 5 champion Tazer reached
podium again after a long time in A1881, chasing his second title once more in
Mercedes.
Forrest Jump seems to finish fourth no matter what, with incredible
consistency in his second consecutive season in Alfa Romeo. ImFOE was unable to
bring a podium to Tifosi on Monza, but he would still take the result in given
conditions, where he missed Q3 with an invalidated lap due to track limits on
finish straight. Dan gave the most Williams can give and had a clean and
consistent pace to bring him P6. Mrmccann followed him with a good pace in
Mercedes, until his hard tyres started suffering in last laps, yet he was still
able to keep himself ahead of Rollie. Rollie in Alpine had to race with
underbody damage for 53 laps after his 3-wide entry to T1 with Valward and
Gordini, and was satisfied with the result in given conditions. Altan was
smelling podium at the first quarter of the race despite having a quali ban, but then he was the victim of
a Haas, a Rollie and lastly himself, which made him settle for P9 in his first
race in Aston. Elgogetaman had better pace in Alphatauri than his Redbull
season, giving him a solid P10. Butcher was once more doing the unexpected and
was able to finish a sim damage %100 race at Monza, on P11, bringing
important wildcard points to Keon and Aston Martin as a a team. Sir Ibbo in
Redbull was once more the last driver alive on track with P12.
Valward, Leegoat, Jonboi, Gordini, Haggisnt, Cajoco and
Selecta were all eggplanted in the eggplant rich soil of Monza…
Excitement in A1881 will continue on Italian soil, this time
on Imola next Sunday!
