RANKUP RULES MADRID, STILL FINDS SOMETHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT

Rankupwithme converted another pole into a dominant victory at Madrid, taking the win ahead of Rollie and TrenchGhost. The VisaRB driver looked in a class of his own from the opening laps, pulling away early and choosing an aggressive early-stop strategy that left the rest of the field chasing. Even three safety car restarts could not unsettle him, as Rankup repeatedly rebuilt his advantage after every restart...


The win was made even more impressive by the pace shown throughout the race. A pace suggested afterwards that, without the interruptions, he may well have been on course to lap the entire field. It was a statement performance on one of the season's most technical and intimidating circuit for many.

Of course, even after a dominant win, Rankup still found something to complain about.

His target was Rollie in his interview, who according to Rankup was "brutal again" and allegedly "almost threw him to the wall"... 

Behind him, Rollie was classified P2 after a race that kept him ahead of his McLaren teammate Rothnz on the final classification. Rothnz actually crossed the line second, but a nine-second track limits penalty dropped him to P4 and leaving him outside of podium first time this season. That promoted Rollie and TrenchGhost, giving another podium to another Swede. For TrenchGhost, this was particularly significant. His first A1881 podium came at Madrid last season, but because he was wildcarding at the time, the result was subject to the points limitations attached to the driver he was replacing. This time there was no such complication. As a full-time Williams driver, TrenchGhost officially takes his first A1881 podium, proving that his Madrid pace was no fluke.

Bards once again showed the pace to fight around the podium, finishing P5 without the benefit of a teammate helping him out. Alpine reserve Ihsancr7 made his debut but unfortunately failed to reach the chequered flag, leaving Bards to carry the Alpine effort alone once more.

Energetic enjoyed his best result of the season with P6, while Elche produced one of the day's biggest recovery drives. Starting from P17, the Ferrari driver climbed to P7 and was even named Driver of the Day by the game. Korka6 followed in P8, continuing another solid result on a tough track for the Cadillac driver.

Sir Ibbo rounded out the classified finishers in P9 and was the last driver left running. Everyone behind him retired, including Box-for-inters, Rexroth, Yeshurrun, Ihsancr7, Crunchypancake, NaeDangerDavid, Fox20072203 and Furios_Donyy56.

The result also keeps the championship battle extremely tight behind the leader. Rothnz remains on top of the WDC with 144 points, but Rankupwithme is only 14 points behind. Rollie sits 7 points back, with Boxforinters who was leading the championship just 2 rounds ago before Monza, now sits P4. Bards remains within striking distance too, making the fight near the top particularly interesting as the season progresses.

The constructors' championship is a different story for now. McLaren's incredible 267 points gives them a commanding lead over VisaRB on 158, with Mercedes and Williams following on 139 and 126 respectively. The legendary McLaren pairing of Rothnz and Rollie is proving particularly effective, even if the drivers' championship remains wide open.

Rankupwithme interview: Ahhhhh not even 4 or 5 vsc/safety cars could stop me today. Finally got my revenge on my man Rothz. Its also a huge swing in the standings.

Well done to Trench as he was practicing with me. I found some immense pace today in this very technical and hard track I especially enjoyed the second last corner that one was so fun going through it every lap.

Had two scary moments as Crunchy and Boxforinters a few laps later crashed so i tried to avoid them, managed to avoid crunch but got damage from box's car, just unlucky i guess had nowhere to go. Also Rollie was brutal again today elbows out almost throwing me into a wall at turn 2, managed to get through and secured a huge win that was a long time coming, bring me brazilllll...other than that very long race with 3 sc restarts... Excited to see what brazil brings as we keep improving”

The final 100% race of Season 24 delivered another strategic thriller, and once again it was the Williams duo stealing the show. Rankupwithme claimed victory after withstanding relentless late pressure from teammate Bards, while Furios_Donyy56 secured his first A1881 podium for Haas in only his second full-time appearance. With another maximum score, Rankup now has one hand firmly on the championship crown as the season heads into its closing rounds... Williams looked untouchable all weekend. Rankup committed to an unconventional soft-to-hard strategy while much of the field leaned toward mediums, and it paid off brilliantly. SV5 MASTERS THE CARNAGE AT JEDDAH SEASON OPENER

The Saudi Arabian GP kicked off the new season in brutal fashion, with SV5 taking a commanding win under the lights of Jeddah ahead of Bards and his teammate Selecta. The podium set the tone for a chaotic opener that was a likely scenario for Jeddah, more so when cockpit cam is forced... From pole, SV5 looked razor-sharp in his new Racing Bulls machinery, especially with the usual title heavyweights Jordan and Mejg absent, leaving the spotlight wide open. When the lights went out, that spotlight turned into a floodlight of chaos almost instantly. A massive first-lap incident at Turn 3 saw Justin clatter into NaeDangerDavid, with Elche also collected, triggering the first safety car and causing widespread damage down the field.
