RANKUPWITHME CONQUERS SILVERSTONE AS WILLIAMS EXTEND THEIR CHAMPIONSHIP CHARGE

The fight at the front of the British Grand Prix delivered another classic. Rankupwithme claimed his third victory in four races for Williams after a relentless 52-lap contest, with Energetic securing Mercedes' first podium of the season in second and teammate Bards completing the podium. HaggisNT crossed the line first on the road after a brilliant strategy call but dropped to fourth after accumulating nine seconds of track limits penalties, while Williams further strengthened both of their championship campaigns...


Although Bards had looked untouchable throughout quali and converted that pace into pole position, qualifying was incredibly close with Rankup only fifth. The leading six remained nose-to-tail during the opening laps and gradually edged away from the rest until Lap 8, when Energetic's ambitious move on Yeshurrun sparked one of the race's biggest talking points. From there, Rankup and Yeshurrun appeared to have the upper hand, but HaggisNT and Bards brilliantly committed to an aggressive undercut before stretching their hard tyres deep into the final stint, bringing themselves right back into victory contention.

HaggisNT's pace was enough to take the chequered flag first, but the accumulated track limits penalties promoted Rankupwithme to victory. Yeshurrun's race was compromised by underfueling despite running with the leaders throughout much of the opening stint, while Energetic recovered superbly from his early incident. His switch to a one-stop strategy paid off as the hard tyres came alive, earning a deserved second place and another impressive podium.

For Bards, another outstanding recovery continued his excellent recent form. After suffering early damage and being forced into an earlier stop than planned, he climbed back to third and helped Williams extend their already commanding Constructors' Championship advantage.

Rollie enjoyed an entertaining opening stint battling both Ferraris before settling into a quieter run to sixth for Alpine. Rothnz survived a race-long scrap despite collecting penalties, while Justin continued searching for the pace that once made him one of the grid's benchmark drivers, finishing eighth for Haas.

Keon impressed on his first league appearance with the new generation of cars. After missing qualifying and starting eighteenth, the Ferrari driver carved his way through the field, spending much of the race battling Rollie and teammate Rothnz before narrowly missing out on Justin late on.

Scaparro once again maximized his Red Bull with another points finish after qualifying strongly. Box-for-inters completed his first full A1881 feature race, collecting valuable points for Cadillac and also setting the fastest lap. Teammate Atisthrottle followed him home after another consistent drive and a first lap incident with Mrbenchod bringing him damage.

Crunchypancake and Sir Ibbo kept their cars running to the finish and inherited positions after San was removed from the final classification following an extended AI-controlled run after disconnecting. Debutant Mrbenchod suffered the same fate after his own connection issues.

It was also a bittersweet evening for reigning champion Bobow. A disconnect at the start left the Haas driver behind before he returned around Lap 10. Unable to recover to the leading pack, he retired after completing enough distance to be classified. After the race, Bobow announced his retirement from the full-time A1881 grid, closing the chapter on an outstanding championship-winning career.

Luca and Fragiletunnel were the remaining retirements on another demanding evening around Silverstone.

With four rounds completed, Rankupwithme has now won three races and continues to build a formidable championship lead, while Williams are beginning to establish themselves as the team everyone else must chase.

Rankupwithme interview: Today its not about talking about much of the race itself, friends and members of A1881 werent even believing me when i was saying that im still very concerned of the setup and that the car is not doing what i want it to. This is the race ive done the most practice by far out od the 4 that weve raced on this season and at the same time the unhappiest. Qualifying was super close and interesting. I finished it with a fantastic lap - my personal best of the whole week of preparations... At least i thought that as I got outqualified by 4 other people and qualified only P5! But then my strenghts started to appear, the race start, within lap one I was already up two places and somehow everything fell into pieces and the setup I somewhat accepted before the race clicked and it was just me and the car again, pushing for all of the 52 laps. Without having a missunderstanding with Bardies i'd get Haggis too, who showed incredible pace today and is a contender for next races, similar to my man Bards who similarly to Austria made the absolute maximum out of a bad situation as he got early damage onto his car and was forced to stop early, and now its becoming a classic that also Yesh had an amazing pace with me the whole first stint as we tore of from the rest, will be happy to see him in next races next to me again. In the end this is my best victory as its been the hardest track to understand as its very very different to the three tracks before. Wasnt as emotional as the first two wins, but it was a Masterclass of engineering a setup that is enough. Not the one thats perfect. 💎

NAEDANGER WINS CHAOTIC BELGIAN GP AS MEJG AND RACING BULLS SEAL WDC AND WCC AT SPA

Spa-Francorchamps delivered one of the most chaotic races in A1881 history, with NaeDangerDavid taking victory for Williams ahead of Aston Martins of Rollie and Charldinho, while AA_Mejg officially secured his fifth A1881 World Drivers’ Championship and Racing Bulls wrapped up the Constructors’ title with one race to spare. From the opening lap, it was clear this shortened 50% distance race would be shaped more by survival and timing than pure pace. SCRFTronc’s rear-ending of Charldinho on Lap 1 caused immediate carnage behind, triggering the first of three safety cars and leaving Ironghost limping around with both front and rear wing damage.
