NAEDANGERDAVID TRIUMPHS IN STRATEGIC THRILLER AT HUNGARY

Ferrari’s NaeDangerDavid delivered a clinical, late-race assault to snatch victory at the Hungaroring, overtaking long-time leader Rian to win Round 8 of Season 19. With just two races remaining, the win reignites David’s outside title hopes and adds a fresh twist to a championship battle that remains wide open. Rian finished second for Williams, while Endru completed the podium, maintaining his momentum in the Drivers’ Championship and keeping Williams firmly in control in the WCC...

"It was a strong race today from Ferrari. The team had me on the best strategy, and I was able to take the win with a few laps remaining. The biggest concern was a late safety car destroying my hope of a victory, but this did not occur. Throughout the race I pulled out some great overtakes, and showed the determination to be a winner again. On to the next one!" said NaeDangerDavid after securing his first win of the season and climbing to fifth in the championship with just two crucial rounds to go.

Rian looked set to convert his consistent form into a long-awaited victory, but his ageing tyres in the final stint left him vulnerable. Endru, also driving for Williams, continued his run of strong finishes to bank another solid result, keeping the team firmly at the top of the Constructors' table with 409 points — 74 ahead of Alpine.

It was a strong return for Mercedes' Racechase, who filled in for Quartiux and drove a clean and composed race to finish fourth, despite suffering a frustrating telemetry glitch early on. Mejg in the Aston Martin fought back from a disastrous P15 start and looked like a potential podium contender, but a puncture caused by debris ruined his late push, landing him in fifth. Mejg now sits equal on points with Rian in third overall.

Fellow Aston Martin driver Dunce followed closely behind, finishing sixth and contributing more important points to their Constructors’ campaign. Mamoodev put on a statement performance in the Haas, finishing seventh after wildcarding for Bards19. The result was a notable one and perhaps even had Rollie — who finished 13th in the Alpine — regretting once again for not reuniting with him as teammate.

In eighth came Tbran in the McLaren, who had started from the front row but couldn't quite convert his one-lap pace into race dominance. Selecta brought home a tidy result for Red Bull in ninth, and Energetic, wildcarding for Inginne in the VisaRB, wrapped up the top ten on his league debut — a solid introduction.

SCR_FTronc marked his return to the grid in the second Ferrari by finishing 11th after a long absence, holding off Keon in the KICK Sauber. Cajoco, Keon's teammate, grabbed 14th just ahead of Kast1908 in the McLaren, after being victimised by Rollie's snap at the exit of T1 late in the race. Javinwain, a regular top-10 name, had an uncharacteristically quiet race and ended up 16th for Red Bull.

The Haas of Crunchypancake and the second VisaRB of Sir_Ibbo followed next, while Alpine’s wildcard RennoRC7 was the only DNF of the day.

Williams' double podium further cements their dominance in the WCC, while Ferrari’s breakthrough win adds late-season excitement to a battle that still has twists left. NaeDangerDavid's rise adds another challenger to the WDC picture, as frontrunners Jordan, Endru, Rian, and Mejg now have to look over their shoulders. With just Brazil and Las Vegas remaining, expect fireworks.
