AA_MEJG GETS A CONTROVERSIAL SPA WIN ALONG WITH THE LEAD IN CHAMPIONSHIP!

AA_Mejg in VisaRB wins Belgium GP after a late SC and a controversial incident with Endru in final lap, thanks to the time penalty of Jordan who was classified as second despite being ahead on track. Dunce filled podium to make Visa RB the team of the week…

Jordan once more had an amazing time to start on pole and was leading comfortably in his Alpine, until the safety car triggered by Selecta’s crash entered the scene. He still had the pace after the SC but received a 3 seconds penalty for track limits. Meanwhile AA_Mejg was battling with Endru and right before the back straight they had a contract which pushed Endru to P5 and gave Mejg the win. He was not very much happy to get the win this way and made it clear in his short interview, reportedly even offering being classified behind Endru for fair play…

AA_Mejg: Thank you, but it's not the way I wanted to win a race... I didn't deserve to win this one. I've had PS5 issues lately and today I experienced lag for most of the race. Unfortunately this ruined the competition tonight…

Despite losing out in last lap, Jordan definitely deserves appreciation for the amazing pace and consistency he shows in Alpine and keeps himself in title fight. Dunce deserves a mention too by showing good consistency and big improvement, especially about staying away from penalties, and has reached a very valuable podium in VisaRB…

Right behind podium was Mirko in Williams. He shows very good pace too in his first season with no assists, and definitely has the pure pace to be a title contender next season, if he improves in consistency and staying away from trouble. Behind him was Endru in Mercedes, losing the championship lead and a possible win to Mejg in last lap. Rollie was only 0.1 behind him after deduction of Endru’s penalties and finished 6th. Tvoje brought Gordini’s Alpine seventh to finish line, showing good pace once more. Bhavish finished 8th in Ferrari, after a few incidents and deduction of time penalties. P9 was Dan the Man, wildcarding for Rian in Aston, almost taking enough points for him to keep him in the lead. But almost… He was still the quicker Aston though, with Naedangerdavid following him in P10, struggling with wheel issues throughout the weekend. Crunchypancake finished P11 in McLaren, despite starting P18 due to quali ban, and still ahead of his teammate TarkanGino, who had started the race at P3 with a very good quali time, but settled for P12. At least this saved the Papayas from the bottom of the WCC table. Slowfiveohh finished P13, in a respectable patient way in the slowest car of the grid, saving himself from his eggplant and keeping himself above many with quicker cars… Rothnz the old GOAT, started to be a consistent backmarker, finishing P14 in his Ferrari, blaming Astons and others for this disaster… He was able to finish ahead of his new rival Sir Ibbo though, who once more was proudly the last driver alive on track in his RedBull…

Selecta, Atwinke and Inginne were all eggplanted in their own unique ways...

We are heading to %100 length Las Vegas GP next Sunday in A1881!
