SEASON 15 GETS REVIEWED WITH AA_MEJG WIN ON COTA!

AA_Mejg won his second race on A1881 in Williams. Naedangerdavid in Mercedes was close to getting this one until his double spin on Lap 47. Endru the champion completed double podium for Williams and claimed WCC title alongside the WDC…

Race started under heavy rain and drivers needed to switch to inters and then slicks around Lap 30, for the remaining half of the race. Naedangerdavid was comfortably leading with his superior wet pace but lost the car twice into T1 allowing AA_Mejg take the lead and his second win. Williams have secured the WCC with these results. Naedangerdavid on the other hand, still secured his first WDC medal by finishing both the race and the season at second place.

AA_Mejg looked happy and confident heading into next season:

AA_Mejg: It was my first time driving a Williams and what a debut it was! Unfortunately I got minor underbody damage after turn 1 and lost my entire front wing which wasn't idel.  The safety car brought me pack into the race after my lap 1 pitstop. The car felt alright regardless of the underbody damage and I was able to push when I needed to. I knew I had good pace around Cota/Texas and I decided to be patient, opting for consistency and avoiding unnecessary warnings. I wasn't the quickest in wet conditions (my friend Roth was flying) but once it was dry it was a different story. It was tought catching Naedangerdavid in his Merc. I came closer and closer but if it wasn't for his spin in turn 1 I doubt that I would have caught up to him in time. Anyway, I'm happy with the win and I look forward to next season!

Bhavish finished P4 in Aston but still lost the challange of finishing the championship above Rollie. Behind him was Tvoje in VisaRB, to say goodbye to his full time seat with a strong P5 and long battle with Rollie. Rollie suffered too many incidents in his Ferrari but eventually was able to earn his only remaining season goal by finishing above Bhavish. Rothnz had his second half of the race without ERS and last 2 laps without fuel, yet the beast was still seventh in finish line by becoming the only driver without a penalty. Dunce in McLaren had enough pace for the podium during rainy phase but he finished P8, still becoming able to secure his first A1881 medal by finishing the season at P3. Crunchypancake in his RedBull showed good pace again and was the last driver alive on track in the absence of Ibbo, by coming P9.

Tarkan, Selecta, Saul Goatman and Inginne were all eggplanted in this season finale...

Season 15 gave us a champion before the last race but hard to say that was an easy one. Endru basically capitalized on his early form and gave as much as needed after that, and secured the title despite being unable to see a win after second race of the season. CPI_Jordan’s and AA_Mejg’s late form promises a more fierce title fight for next season. Naedanger’s form was also impressive with a win and 3 podiums in this season. Dunce also showed incredible improvement after just giving away the racing line and will be interesting to watch him and Naedanger in different cars next season. The stats for the season will be published as season insights today, as we are already heading to car selection for Season 16 this evening!

AA_MEJG TAKES BRAZIL GP WIN AS JORDAN CLINCHES SEASON 19 WDC CROWN

In a dramatic feature race at Interlagos – the only sprint weekend in A1881 history – AA_Mejg took a hard-earned victory for Aston Martin, followed by newly crowned Season 19 world champion Jordan in the Alpine, with NaeDangerDavid delivering another impressive Ferrari drive to claim third. The championship fight for P2 and P3 in the WDC remains alive, as does the battle for the Williams–Alpine WCC crown, heading into the Las Vegas finale.. . SV5 MASTERS THE CARNAGE AT JEDDAH SEASON OPENER

The Saudi Arabian GP kicked off the new season in brutal fashion, with SV5 taking a commanding win under the lights of Jeddah ahead of Bards and his teammate Selecta. The podium set the tone for a chaotic opener that was a likely scenario for Jeddah, more so when cockpit cam is forced... From pole, SV5 looked razor-sharp in his new Racing Bulls machinery, especially with the usual title heavyweights Jordan and Mejg absent, leaving the spotlight wide open. When the lights went out, that spotlight turned into a floodlight of chaos almost instantly.
