RIAN WINS ON MONZA!

Rian of Williams had a stunning pace in his Williams, to claim his first A1881 win on 24 game. Selecta the Flying Dutchman came second in his Mercedes. Justin once more did a last to podium in Aston Martin...

After a strange qualifying where DRS was enabled but inters were quickest, Bhavish got his first A1881 career pole to a dry race and was able to keep the lead until DRS was enabled. Rian and Selecta joined him to form the early leading trio. Rian seemed comfortable in his Williams and the straight line speed seemed to help. Him and Selecta pulled away from Bhavish on lap 7 and they enjoyed DRS of each other until the end of first stint. After the undercut Rianc could have been much more comfortable but he found himself a slight challenge by cutting the first chicane and receiving a 10 seconds penalty. Luckily Selecta was also having trouble with track limits as usual and received 6 seconds of penalties, which cost him the win as he was only 6 seconds behind Rian at finish line. Justin was able to finish ahead of his teammate despite starting last and filled the podium... Rian was happy to finally get his first A1881 win on 24 game:

Rian: Haha yea it feels great to be back on the top step, it’s been way too long. Qualifying wasn’t the best I couldn’t get a real feel for the car in the wet and wasn’t able to push at 100% but to still end up in p3 was okay, the race started good, I was able to get myself into the lead by lap 3 and then me and Selecta just used drs to work together and pull a gap to the pack, the mediums felt like I was sliding on ice the whole stint and by the time I pit I made a stupid mistake and completely missed my braking point for the pits and took a 10 second penalty, thinking I had completely lost any chance at the win, thankfully the hards felt a lot better than the mediums and I was able to push flat out and pull a gap of 10 seconds to the cars behind, I couldn’t have any lapse of concentration though as I was also on 2 warnings and a silly track limits would’ve probably cost me the race win, fortunately I kept all 4 wheels on track and was able to bring the car home in one piece and score good points for Williams...

Bhavish finished fourth in Aston, ahead of Rothnz in Haas who once more had a bad qualifying but the usual strong pace. Valward reserved for CPI_Jordan and got a solid P6 in Kick Sauber. Dan was once more the quicker Ferrari and finished seventh again after Netherlands. Champion Endru tried a two stopper combined with a bad quali and this only allowed him to claim P8, together with fastest lap. He still keeps his comfortable lead in standings with this result. Dunce finished the race at P9 in his McLaren, keeping himself around the top in standings. Keon and Tvoje had a beautiful and fair race long battle for P10, and Keon claimed those extra 4 points in his Redbull thanks to the 10s penalty of Tvoje in sister bull. Behind them was Rollie in Ferrari at P12, having a disastrous season and endless excuses, this time being a new wheel to get used to. Kast finished P13 in McLaren ahead of Vedaboi in Mercedes, who was wildcarding Naedangerdavid on his A1881 debut. P15 we saw Inginne in Haas, contributing his GOAT teammate as much as he can for WCC. Crunchypancake in his first race as a full time driver in RedBull was once more able to finish the race and reached his first points as a full time driver...

Varea and Sir Ibbo ordered their eggplant dishes in pits. We are heading to Australia GP next Sunday!
