NAEDANGERDAVID HITS FIA BACK BY WINNING ON MIAMI!
Naedangerdavid in his Mercedes showed the winner attitude by taking the FIA decision on the chin and claimed his first official win, this time with no doubt into the hall of fame. CPI_Jordan followed him in Sauber. Endru in Williams filled podium once more, increasing his gap to P2 in championship…
Jordan once more did an unbelievable quali time and started
on pole. First SC coming on Lap 4 shuffled the grid with almost half skipping
the pits. Naedangerdavid’s pace was solid and flawless with zero penalties,
bringing him his first official win, after last week’s win was taken away by
FIA decision. He showed the winner attitude and became the first driver to give
two interviews in a row despite officially winning only one:
Naedangerdavid: Another
strong race for the Mercedes team, working our way closer to the constructors
title. The car felt incredible on track, allowing me to attack all of the kerbs
in the first sector and maximise the overtaking chances through sector 2.
Although the drivers around me had penalties, I still wanted to finish in P1 on
track and keep my nose clean. Very satisfying first win in A1881!
This brought Mercedes on top in constructors’, above
Williams. CPI_Jordan’s alien effort was only enough for P2. Endru once more
played it strategically when he had a bad quali to overcome and kept on
increasing his championship lead despite not winning any of the last 5 races.
Right behind podium was AA_Mejg in Haas, after a
controversial incident with Saul’s VisaRB into last DRS zone on last lap,
claiming he was brakechecked which cost him the podium. Saul came P5, after a
race long battle with Mejg and a dangerous dive into last turn. P6 we had
Rollie in Ferrari, happy with the result given the lack of practice. P7 was
Bhavish in Aston, skipping the pits during first SC and unable to catch the
pack on his last stint. Dunce finished 8th in his McLaren. P9 was Selecta in
Mercedes after being dived by Rothnz. Yet this result helped his team climb top
in WCC. Tvoje was classified tenth after deduction of Rothnz’s penalties.
Rothnz had mediocre pace today in his Haas and was penalised with 10 seconds by
the game after his dive on Selecta and had to settle for his worst result this season
with P11. Tarkangino finished P12 in Alpine, after a long battle with Gordini.
PSKeon struggled a lot in his home race and finished P13 in RedBull, ahead of
his reserve teammate PatrickMyler. Sir Ibbo in Sauber was once more proudly the
last driver alive on track at P15.
Varea retired after PatrickMyler’s unsafe join to track,
where he already had a severely damaged car after his own dive into T1. Dan increased
his tally of eggplants to 4, having a strange dsq after having a puncture.
Justin tried his luck on controller but was unable to save himself from a
fourth eggplant, by retiring in pits. GOARdini retired in pits in Williams
after an unlucky race for himself.
We are heading to legendary Interlagos next week on A1881!
