CPI_JORDAN GETS HIS LONG AWAITED FIRST A1881 WIN IN AZERBAIJAN!
Cpi_Jordan put in an incredible pole time to signal what was
coming, but it didn’t go as easy as it first looked. His swede rival in multiple
leagues managed to stay in the DRS for more than 40 laps, after each one of the three safety car
interruptions. AA_Mejg was looking like getting this one when CPI had 6 seconds of
penalties but he lost the car towards the end of the race and eventually had to
settle for second place, 16 seconds behind CPI_Jordan. This gave CPI_Jordan his
first A1881 win and his place in A1881 hall of fame. And he was calm like a Swede in his interview:
CPI_Jordan: Felt good. Was a long time coming. It was all the more satisfying after all the issues I had in the races leading up to it, and to finally win after such an exhausting race was nice...
AA_Mejg’s effort was also
incredible and he managed to get a podium in his A1881 debut as well. Saul
Goatman was far from the pace of this duo but managed to get the last step of
the podium and after last week’s wildcard win from Haggisnt, brought himself into
the title fight...
Behind the podium was the champion Endru in Williams, once more limiting damage and keeping behind the only current threat to his championship lead once more. Naedangerdavid put in a very good last stint to take out both Rollie and his teammate Selecta in last laps. Also giving a hand to his teammate Selecta the lucky Dutchman to keep himself at P6, ahead of Rollie. Rollie seemed to slowly get his consistency back on his new wheel and got a good result with P7, to climb above his teammate in standings… Dunce had a better first half of the race and finished P8 in his McLaren. Tvoje seemed to struggle for pace on this track in his Visa RB and finished ninth. Kast came 10th one lap behind and helped keep his team above of Aston Martin. Varea in Alpine finished 2 laps behind in his Alpine, having a disastrous moment with Rothnz into T3, costing damage to multiple drivers including himself. Sir Ibbo in Sauber was the last driver alive on track coming from 2 laps behind, but his contribution made Sauber the team of the week...
Dan retired in pits, allegedly due to an “undrivable” car,
but the rumours of Papa Stroll bribing him to retire for keeping Aston above
Ferrari is a common talk… And when it's Dan you never know... Bhavish, Justin, Vedaboi, Rothnz, Crunchypancake
(this one was funny to watch), Rian and Inginne all tasted the tasty Azeri
eggplants…
We are heading to another eggplant rich track, Singapore GP
for another %100 length race next Sunday on A1881!
