ADAMLINDBERG DOES A LEGENDARY RETURN TO KEEP CHAMPION CAR WHERE IT BELONGS ON AZERBAIJAN GP!
AdamLindberg reserved in Visa RB after a long while and first time on 24 game, and didn’t seem rusty at all while winning a difficult race. Justin was very close to his first win in A1881, but settled for his first podium in his Williams instead. Dan kept his series of podium going on in Mercedes...
Adam was sitting on pole already with a comfortable time and
steadily increased the gap to Justin, who had a good and steady pace as well.
Adam could still be comfortable after his pits yet Justin found himself a cheap
pit stop under VSC, which made rest of the race a close battle for the two.
Justin was able to stay in DRS distance on last lap but Adam had saved enough
ERS to run a city, while also benefiting from the pov of lapped cars ahead.
This made Adam get his first win on 24 game in his first reserving, also making
the Racing Bulls the WCC Champions… He was cheerful after the race:
Adam: What a race! Starting from Pole I managed to break out
of the DRS early and extend a gap to the cars behind. After I made my pitstop
the VSC got called out and Justin made a somewhat of a ”free pitstop” and
caught up to me. Despite having both harder and more worn tires than Justin, I
managed to keep up with him and even extend a bit of a gap during the last lap.
This small gap made it possible for me to cross the finish line first.
It was really good to be back racing in this great league
and of course also nice to back on the top step of the podium!”
Justin was signaling this result for a while with his strong
pace in Williams and it seems his first win is not very far away in A1881. Dan
has reached podium third time in his Mercedes this season, this time much more
comfortably than the others and he already almost guaranteed to finish above Rollie
this season, if no last race heroes show up to… You know…
Bhavish finished fourth in McLaren, getting him in P5 in
standings to have a long shot on a medal and a good shot on being able to pick
a track next season. Varea in Ferrari got rid of four eggplants at once and
finished fifth with his Ferrari. Rothnz once more showed good pace to reach P6 and
claim the WCC together with Endru, despite not being able to put in a quali lap
and also serving a DT pen. Rollie finished P7 after a not so good race. Behind
him was Selecta the disconnecting Dutchman in his Haas. Tvoje in Mercedes got
his worst finish position this season but he has been still able to keep
himself second in championship, to have strong shot on his first medal heading
into the last race. Tbran came 10th in Aston. Keon had a difficult race and
possibly counting his days to be over in Alpine, while coming eleventh. Kast
finished P12 despite serving a quali ban in his Ferrari. PatrickMayler was
reserving in Williams and didn’t have the best of races and reached finish line in P13. Sir Ibbo in his Redbull was not the last driver alive on track this
time, still keeping him in top half of standings in championship by coming P14.
Cajoco legend returned grid reserving in McLaren, he showed what he is capable
of with his quali time but seemed to need more time on the game to come close
to his legendary days, finishing P15. Last driver alive on track was Dunce in
Haas, who seemed to struggle all race as well.
TarkanGino has been eggplanted in his first race by retiring
in pits only 4 laps to go...
Season 14 in A1881 will be concluded in Netherlands GP next
week, with 5 drivers having a go on silver and bronze medals!
