NLR_FELIXONE WINS THE AUSTRIA GP ON HIS DEBUT!

Felixone did a shiny entry to A1881 Grid, with a win in Haas, ahead of Rian the Alien. Saul Goatman clinched the last step of podium in Mercedes…

Felixone already was meaning it when he clinched pole a tenth ahead of Rian. He dictated the pace throughout the race and with usage of DRS in turns together with Rian, and has been able to win the race on his debut, along with becoming the first German driver to win a race and becoming 25th race winner of A1881 history. He was happy with the result and gave a cool-headed interview:

Felixone: Race was obviously pretty good. Not got too much to say really. Worked together with Ryan as we both pulled away from the pack, passed him with DRS on the last lap and he had a penalty anyway so it was pretty straightforward

Obviously very happy to have won on debut. Was confident i could adjust quickly and do well here since i've been racing for a long time already, but of course you never know for sure what the level is like when you race in a new league for the first time…

Rian found himself another one to match his pace, at a costly moment where he needed maximum points to get closer to Rothnz in title fight. Despite this, he capitalised with 33 points and reduced the gap to Rothnz to 31 points, as we are heading the final two races of the season.

Saul Goatman finally showed what was expected of him by reaching his first podium. Despite this, his championship points are still 6 points short of his penalty points…

Following the podium we had AdamLindberg in Williams, keeping himself within the fight for WDC Medals. He was followed by Burtay in Redbull, thanks to the time penalties of Haggisnt and Selecta. Fameinerth showed good pace once more, reaching P6 in Alpine. Haggisnt in AT and Selecta in McLaren were classified P7 and P8 respectively, after deduction of time penalties. Rothnz the GOAT came 9th in Alpine, making this the only race he was out of podium this season. At P10 we had Naedangerdavid in Aston, chasing close his first WDC medal in A1881. Tvoje in RedBull finished in P11, after his incident with David in T1L1. Dan showed good pace on last stint with his Ferrari, and was safely ahead of Rollie at finish, coming P12. Rollie had his share of incidents in Mercedes, by being clipped to Bhavish and Tbran, and had to settle for P13. Gordini finished P14 in McLaren, after being half spun by Burtay. Bhavish finished 15th in Ferrari, after controversial incidents with Rollie and Tbran, who was following him in P16. Inginne and Sir Ibbo were having their fun at the back of the pack, costing almost a DNF to Felix under blue flags. But it had to end due to Ibbo’s power cut. Inginne was classified as P17 as a result, saving him from 3 eggplants at once.

The title fight for WDC and WCC goes on in A1881 as we are heading to penultimate race of the season and the game, with %100 length Imola next Sunday!
