RIANC CONTINUES DOMINATING, THIS TIME ON BAHRAIN GP…
Rianc started ahead once more with an extraordinary pole time. He
lost (or maybe gave away) the lead to Valward at first stint, to only follow
him closely until Valward decided to pit. It looked like a close battle from
outside but we just learned later that he was fuel saving throughout that first
stint 🙄 He was able to overcome two undercuts of Valward and with only 5 laps
remaining, once more stole Valward’s chance of reaching his first win in A1881.
Gordini was expected to possibly fight closer to this duo in RedBull, but
instead he had most of his battles with Kragish, who was also wildcarding
Inginne in Aston.
We had battles everywhere on grid simultaneously, in a %100
length race where no SC appeared, and everyone was equalised by fuel issues. Behind
podium we had Keon in McLaren, showing very strong and consistent pace
throughout this season, to bring himself fifth in standings. Behind him was
Kragish in Aston, to also claim the fastest lap. At P6 we had Haggisnt in
Alphatauri, who tried to limit damage but eventually had to share P2 in WDC
with Valward now. AdamLindberg reserved for Butcher and finished P7, despite also
serving his quali ban and starting from the back. Tbran finished P8 in Alpine,
once more leading his team and being involved in the best of the rest fight in
WDC. Naedangerdavid in Haas had very good pace and came P9 despite serving a
quali ban. Burtay had much better pace than his teammate in Alfa Romeo this
time, battled hard with the likes of Haggisnt, Tbran and Leegoat, but had to
fuel save in last quarter of the race to make him settle for P10, just ahead of
his teammate Rollie. P12 we saw Dan in Alpine after a week without any practice,
around 10 seconds behind Rollie and ahead of Bhavish’s Ferrari. Tvoje finished
P14 in Mercedes, contributing to his team as much as he could. Magnelman once
more had to race with permanent damage in a long race, but was determined to
bring those points to keep Ferrari above RedBull and Aston. Kast in Aston had
very good quali pace, reached Q3 after a long while but had to accept being the
last driver alive on track eventually.
Sir Ibbo, Rothnz, Saul Goatman and Selecta all had their
eggplant dishes in pits, intentionally, after being upset with different things.
We will be going to Jeddah next Sunday, for another thrilling %100 length race!
