HAGGISNT EARNS SLIGHT LEAD IN CHAMPIONSHIP WITH THE WIN ON HUNGARY!
Haggisnt got a dominant victory on Hungaroring, giving him the lead in championship with three races to be run. Rianc gave his best to bring Alfa Romeo second in podium. Endru wildcarded for Leegoat and clinched a well deserved podium in Williams…
Race began with Haggisnt on pole and Rianc and Endru right
behind, the way it finished. Rianc picked softs to start and pressured Haggisnt who began on mediums until his tyres are worn, but then lost him in distance.
Haggisnt got even more comfortable after Rianc’s spin. When SC entered at L18,
he was leading the race once more and had a few bumper drivers between himself
and Rianc, which made him extend the lead before Rianc had a shot on it. This
gave Haggisnt the lead in championship and his third interview this season:
Haggisnt: Was a fun
race. Hungary is one of my better tracks, so glad I could get the win and take
back the championship here. It’s gonna be a rough time trying to stay in the
lead with Rian right behind me and Canada coming up which I think he’s great
at. Hopefully we can keep the A1881 crown in the north for now though And
hopefully I can stay consistent for once.
The champion alien of the grid kept his hopes alive by coming second
and this kept him only 2 points short of the lead in championship. Endru was once more
sensational in Williams, having the elbows-out fight for podium with Rollie
and Rothnz but didn’t yield and reached his second podium in a row…
Rollie in Ferrari and Rothnz in Haas were on the tail of
Endru at finish line. Rollie was slowed down by the slow Rothnz a lot, costing
him a possible podium but still finished ahead of him anyway. Rothnz got closer
to Vithjalmen in standings with this and began smelling another medal already.
Altan in Mercedes finished sixth behind Rothnz, giving him his second P6 this
season after Netherlands. He was followed by Vithjalmen in McLaren who had to
overcome a quali ban and limited damage to keep himself in 3rd in standings. Behind
him was the other Swede Valward in Alfa Romeo. Tbran finished 9th in the other
McLaren, after causing half a disaster to himself and others in T1L1. Burtay
finished 10th in Ferrari, becoming the obvious second-driver of the team… Keon
in his first race as full time in Alpine had a good quali to start P4 but didn’t
have the race pace and ended up in P11. Dan in Aston finished 12th due to 6
seconds of penalties and a skater-spin. Tvoje reserved for Elgogeta in Mercedes
and brought good points to team despite serving the quali ban of Elgogeta too.
Magnelman in his debut wildcarded for Mrmccann in Aston and came to finish
14th. GOARdini came in as a last minute reserve for Kingdom in Haas and
finished 15th despite having a better pace than that during race. Sir Ibbo and
ASLN love was re-united at the back of the pack, to bring Alphatauri 16 and 17,
in the race ASLN reserved for Cmrcnn and became the last driver alive on track.
Bhavish in his debut retired in pits while wildcarding for Kast in RedBull, after being butchered by ASLN. Selecta had good pace throughout the practices but ended up in barrier to ruin his race. Inginne in his first race to reserve for Butcher in RedBull had a good race but was disqualified unluckily for stopping on track after spinning, while safely trying to give way to the passing drivers. This also gave him his eggplant in his debut, together with Bhavish...
We are heading to Canada GP next week in A1881, picked by
the leader Haggisnt to give us another thrilling race!
