HAGGISNT GETS HIS SECOND WIN IN A ROW TO STRENGTHEN HIS LEAD ON WDC!
Haggisnt in Alpine won the Spain GP and gave us signs of a
new champion emerging. He was followed by alien champion Rianc on his own track
of choice in Alfa Romeo. Vithjalmen once more was in podium in McLaren...
Haggisnt got a confident pole and showed he was into it
already from the very beginning. He used the SC to pit and a few laps after
the exit of SC, the Alpine double was already leading the race. He
had his battle with Vithjalmen for a while but was even too quicker in
Alpine than Vithjalmen in McLaren. This made Haggisnt lead to reach 14 points
over Vithjalmen in standings.
Rianc once more showed alien pace in Alfa Romeo and clinched a well
deserved second place to bring him closer to the title fight, 15 points behind
third placed Cajoco in standings. Vithjalmen has extended his quest for his first win on A1881,
maybe to make it more memorable on Monaco next week, the track he chose himself.
Cajoco had a different strategy than his teammate Haggisnt and
used softs at the end of the race to storm past Rothnz and Tbran to reach P4.
Tbran followed him in McLaren, after a long and strategic battle with Rothnz in
Haas through the second half of the race, and came on top of him with better
saving of ERS and good timing of his overtake. Rothnz was unable to reach Q3,
heheheheheh, but he was once more around the top at the end of the race 😒 Altan
in Mercedes and Burtay in Ferrari were also entertaining themselves throughout
the second half of the race, and Altan finished ahead to bring him his second
seventh place in a row. Burtay could have been a bit more aggressive against Altan but he chose to play it safe to shoulder the team while his teammate was
struggling. Aston Martins were following this duo, with Mrmccann ahead of Dan
with a different strategy, despite feeling the pressure from his teammates in
last few laps, he was able to reach the finish line ninth. Rollie in Ferrari suffered
from his own mistake and span while battling with Altan and Burtay on his worn
tyres, and eventually had to settle for P11, once more eyeing a last SC that
never came… Behind him was Selecta, who has been one of the victims of Valward’s
T1 holocaust, giving him his second P12 in Williams this season. Elgogetaman
again showed a much better pace than previous seasons and reached P13 in
his Mercedes, well ahead of his rivals like Buthcer, Kast, Ibbo and Cmrcnn.
Butcher finished P14 in Redbull, after strange disconnection issues. He was
followed by Keon in Williams who wildcarded for Jonboi and brought him his
first points of the season. Kast came 16th in Redbull, ahead of Sir Ibbo in
Alphatauri. Last driver to be classified was Kingdom at P18, despite retiring
in last lap, due to completed laps.
Valward retired in pits after taking lives of many and
received an eggplant alongside Cmrcnn of Alphatauri. We are heading to posh
Monaco GP next week with title fight getting hot as we reach halfway through
the season...
