HAGGISNT GETS A HARD FOUGHT WIN ON ABU DHABI AND LEADS THE WDC FIRST TIME ON A1881!
Haggisnt clinched his first win in Alpine this season to bring himself on top in standings. He was followed by the unlucky Vithjalmen in McLaren. Rothnz the GOAT in Haas reached his first podium after a long while…
Haggisnt won the %100 length Abu Dhabi GP after a long and patient fight with a good strategy. His win placed him on top of the standings and made the Alpine lead in WCC even more comfortable.
Haggisnt: “The race was great fun, thought I was screwed
when the game put me on softs to start but the safety car and Rian’s battle
with a kerb saved me. Vith has unreal pace in that McLaren, after his
disconnect when he caught me I thought the only way I could win it is if I try
go for newer tyres so I pitted as soon as he was within a second and that won
me the race. Also quick shout out to my teammate for becoming Perez and
defending against Vith for a few laps. And it feels great to take the lead,
think this is the first time I’ve lead the championship since I’ve joined
A1881, main goal now is to be as consistent as possible, try to keep it in the
top 3 every race and hopefully I can stay at the top”
Only one second behind him was Vithjalmen, who has been
quite unlucky in A1881, this time becoming the victim of a connection problem
to cost him a few positions which are very hard to take against these monsters
ahead. His win still doesn’t seem very far away though, considering the insane
pace he has in that McLaren. Rothnz reminded us of his greater days and filled
the podium in Haas, continuing his steady climb in standings together with
Rianc in Alfa Romeo, who finished right behind him. They are getting closer to
the tight fight above, where Haggisnt, Cajoco and Vithjalmen are only seperated
by 2 points. Cajoco finished fifth in Alpine ahead of Dan in Aston, who had the
better of strategies than Ferraris and reached P6 again after Las Vegas. Altan finished 7th
in Mercedes, having a two stopper work greatly over Ferraris too. Valward finally
finished the race and got rid of three eggplants by coming 8th in Alfa Romeo.
The Ferraris came 9th and 10th, despite fighting around the top for more than
half of the race, after a Ferrari strategy to go one stop, with Rollie ahead of
Burtay. Tbran in McLaren also was involved in the top fight and was smelling
the podium for quite a long time, until he suffered a self inflicted spin
similar to Rollie, to ruin his race. Selecta had very good pace in Williams and
despite finishing ahead of Tbran on track, he was classified as 12th due to his time penalty. Mrmccann finished 13th in Aston after a relatively better first
half of the race. Keon was on grid after a long time to reserve for his
countryman Kingdom in Haas and finished P14. Elgogeta finished 15th, to try to
keep himself in the top half of standings after his extraordinary wildcard
points. Kast in Redbull once more was able to finish the race and also cliamed the
fastest lap, which is very difficult to take within all these aliens. Butcher
continued to become a strange person, to be able to finish %100 races more
often than %50 ones and came 17th behind his teammate. Sır Ibbo led the
Alphatauris and clinched the final point of the race by coming 18th. Cmrcnn was
the last driver alive on track and has been the second person to finish a race
but not score points in 11 seasons A1881 history, alongside his teammate Sir
Ibbo.
Jonboi was the only eggplanted driver despite not liking
fainted imam dish, making us wonder what could he do other than that with 5 eggplants…
We will be racing on Spain next Sunday, on the track champion Rian chose himself to dominate…
