ELGOGETAMAN BETTER CALLED SAUL TO WIN THE OPENER OF SEASON 11 ON ZANDVOORT!

Saul Goatman has won the opener while wildcarding for his countryman Elgogetaman in Mercedes. Within a second of him were Vithjalmen in McLaren and Cajoco in Alpine to fill the podium…

Saul Goatman (Leegoat) has been called urgently to represent Elgogetaman in last minute, in the %100 length opener of Season 11 in A1881. He was the only in the front pack to switch to softs after the exit of last SC, feeling confident of tyre management after all those years in Haas… Him, Vithjalmen and Cajoco gave a fascinating battle within the DRS distance of each other for some 20+ laps after the track went dry and saving of ERS to last laps didn’t help any one of them since all did the same. This brought Elgogetaman his first week to lead the WDC in his A1881 career…

Behind this alien pack we had the Turkish gang, led by Burtay in Ferrari. He had a strong pace in his last stint on hards and wasn’t even threatened by Rollie or Altan. Rollie in Ferrari and Altan in Mercedes gave us a Hakkinen – Schumacher nostalgia and Rollie came up on top of this battle by overtaking Altan in last lap with better management of ERS. Haggisnt in Alpine had a better pace than this Turkish trio but he suffered a self-inflicted spin to make him settle for P7, yet he claimed the fastest lap and this single point brought Alpine over Ferrari in WCC. Behind him in 8th was Rothnz in Haas, swallowing the dust of Rollie… LOI_Idyllanno finished at P9 in Alfa Romeo where he brought important wildcard points to his champion countryman Rianc. P10 was Mrmccann in Aston Martin, having stronger pace at first half of the race than the second. Tbran in McLaren finished at P11 in his first race as a full time driver in A1881 and McLaren, after insisting on staying on slicks when everyone switched to inters. Kast1908 was also another driver in his first full time race and he came 12th in Redbull. Selecta in Williams was excluded from end results because AI drove for him after his connection issues and this made Sir Ibbo in Alphatauri to be classified as 13th, once more as the last driver alive on track…

Kingdom drove with a good pace in Haas but retired the car in pits after some 45 laps, bringing himself his first eggplant of the season. Jonboi also was eggplanted in his first full time race. Butcher and Cmrcnn were the usual eggplant lovers. Valward in Alfa Romeo and Dan in Aston were eggplanted too after Valward’s spin and Dan’s unlucky ending in his sidepot.

The excitement in A1881 will continue next Sunday, to have our first league race under shiny Vegas lights!

AA_MEJG TAKES BRAZIL GP WIN AS JORDAN CLINCHES SEASON 19 WDC CROWN

In a dramatic feature race at Interlagos – the only sprint weekend in A1881 history – AA_Mejg took a hard-earned victory for Aston Martin, followed by newly crowned Season 19 world champion Jordan in the Alpine, with NaeDangerDavid delivering another impressive Ferrari drive to claim third. The championship fight for P2 and P3 in the WDC remains alive, as does the battle for the Williams–Alpine WCC crown, heading into the Las Vegas finale.. . The weekend began with Jordan taking the sprint win ahead of Mejg in a dominant low-drag, hard-tyre strategy display, the Alpine–Aston pairing finishing well clear of the rest. SV5 MASTERS THE CARNAGE AT JEDDAH SEASON OPENER

The Saudi Arabian GP kicked off the new season in brutal fashion, with SV5 taking a commanding win under the lights of Jeddah ahead of Bards and his teammate Selecta. The podium set the tone for a chaotic opener that was a likely scenario for Jeddah, more so when cockpit cam is forced... From pole, SV5 looked razor-sharp in his new Racing Bulls machinery, especially with the usual title heavyweights Jordan and Mejg absent, leaving the spotlight wide open. When the lights went out, that spotlight turned into a floodlight of chaos almost instantly. A massive first-lap incident at Turn 3 saw Justin clatter into NaeDangerDavid, with Elche also collected, triggering the first safety car and causing widespread damage down the field.
