ENDRU PUTS HIMSELF INTO TITLE FIGHT WITH A DOMINANT WIN ON SPA!
Endru clinched his second win of this season on Spa with Vithjalmen following him in Lee's RedBull. RothNz filled podium by leaving his teammate outside the podium first time this season...
Endru began on pole and was safely leading after T1. He extended his lead until the last SC appeared around L16. After the last SC he had a difficult task to increase the gap over Vithjalmen in Redbull, once more to over 3secs because of his penalty. But the Romanian youngster showed a cool head to overcome the task and got back into the title fight, when there are 4 more races to run.
"It was a good race, got a good start and managed to
keep the lead into t1, it was a few hard first laps trying to keep Ebird out of
ers but at some point he crashed with Roth i think, and from that point i
started playing it safe, until 5 laps to go when i got a penalty and i had to
push and build a 3s gap to Vithjalmen behind who had amazing pace throughout
the race, but i eventually managed to build that gap and i won, congrats
especially to vithjalmen and roth, and everyone who managed to finish the race
on such a hard track"
Vithjalmen reached podium with P2 in his first race at A1881, reserving in Lee's Redbull, helped to keep Lee at title fight. Rothnz the GOAT secured P3, this time ahead of his teammate and leader Cajoco. This marked the first race that Cajoco stayed out of podium this season. He was followed by Selecta in Mercedes. Dan finished at P6, ahead of Forrest Jump in Alfa Romeo. Mert was reserving for Rollie in Ferrari and brought important points with P8 in his wildcard ride, where he could’ve even reached podium if it wasn’t for the last SC. Kragish reserved for Gordini in Williams and showed impressive pace and finished P9. Altan was right behind him in P10 in his Alpine. Mrmccann finished P11, divided from his teammate Kingdom, by Sir Ibbo in between in his Williams. Levin_Swe was able to finish his first race reserving in Haas.
