ROTHNZ COMES BACK INTO THE TITLE FIGHT WITH AN INTIMIDATING PACE ON BRITAIN GP!
Rothnz in his Aston has reminded everyone of his long lasting dominance, by winning comfortably ahead of RedBull driver Leegoat at Silverstone. Cajoco filled the podium by overtaking Rianc cruelly on last lap…
Rianc in his Alphatauri was on pole to a soaky wet race with an incredible
time in dry quali session, followed by OPgamer. Rothnz was already able to take
the lead by Lap 4, and then he increased lead steadily. After the first SC
entering with Endru’s retirement, he was again on lead and dominated the field
by having a 15 seconds lead when he saw the checkered flag. He refused to give
an interview to imply that he was fed up with the attitude of the haters of his
success, and will continue speaking on track… Leegoat had a clean race and
saved himself from big errors, despite being challenged by Cajoco at the
beginning of the race. He also had a steady pace after the SC and this brought
him a comfortable second place, some 24 seconds ahead of Cajoco at finish line.
Cajoco had ups and downs in his pace under rain but was much more quick and steady when it
dried up the last 10 laps. He chased Rianc who deserved a seperate paragraph with
his amazng pace in Alphatauri, but then was cruelly overtaken by Cajoco in
last lap with the help of DRS in dry conditions. Cajoco kept his lead in WDC ahead of his
teammate with this podium and also has been the only driver to reach podium in
all three races of this season.
Some 10 seconds behind Rianc was Rollie, who had a
relatively good pace, and finished first time ahead of his teammate Dan. He was
followed by Forrest Jump who was also overperforming his Alfa Romeo, but lost
some pace after the track went dry. Selecta finished seventh, bringing
important points to Mercedes in a race where his teammate retired. Finndermann
reserved in Atwinke's Haas after a very long time, and finished 8th. He was followed
by Dan in Ferrari, who had an unlucky race with DT penalties and Ferrari
strategies… Keon in Haas finished 10th ahead of Altan in Alpine. Gordini
finished 12th in Williams, giving him his worst result this season. Ebird had
shockingly slow pace in Alfa Romeo and finished 13th. Mrmccann tried to carry
McLaren alone once more, bringing 5 points with P14. Tbran raced for Shmodus in
Alphatauri and brought Shmodus his first points this season by finishing 15th.
Kast was again able to finish this demanding race in Redbull, at P16. Sir Ibbo
was the last driver alive on track in his Williams with P17.
OPgamer and Endru were the only eggplant owners, Endru
especially being damaged by its possible effect on his title chances. The
excitement in A1881 will continue on Temple of Speed next Sunday…
