“I’LL DO MY VERY BEST IN LAST RACE TO GET THAT TAPE GUY!” SAYS CAJOCO AFTER WINNING THE BRITAIN GP…
Cajoco won the British GP and got a serious chance of winning the title in last race. GOARdini finished second with Redbull, just behind Cajoco and right ahead of Endru in Alfa Romeo...
Race began quite incident free in first laps. Cajoco started
the race on P3 with hards and gained second place after Gordini’s early spin.
Haggisnt picked mediums while starting on pole and steadily increased the lead.
Even after pits Haggisnt was comfortably leading Cajoco. Until the first and only SC coming in
at Lap 17, race’s fate was looking like already settled with Haggisnt leading
and Cajoco following. But Haggisnt had his moment when SC entered and was
disqualified from race in a dubious way, due to some involvement with SC. After
that point it was an intense battle between Cajoco, Gordini and Endru for the
win. The trio stayed within each others' DRS until the checkered flag but Cajoco
defended calmly against Gordini and got his second win in a row, bringing him 6
points behind the leader Rothnz… He sent the message to his rival after the
race in a strong way:
Cajoco: “What a
crazy race ! I really didn’t expect to win this one. It looked like the best I
could do was P2 before the SC as Haggints was cruelly punished by the game for
overtaking SC. After some chaos at the restart , it was Gordini who was putting
me under serious pressure for the final 5 laps! Big thanks to the Renault
engine for giving me all that power down the hangar straight and allowed me to
hold on for the win!!
Reporter: “Simple,
will you get that tape guy?!”
Cajoco: "I’ll do my very best! RothNz is a great driver and knows how to win these championships so it will be tough…With 6 points the gap anything can happen. But I will throw everything at Canada to bring home my first championship 🤝"
Cajoco’s possible win in last race of
season in Canada GP will bring him his first title, and the first crown of A1881, regardless of Rothnz’s position…
Second placed GOARdini once more clinched
podium. This made him able to reach podium in all three races he reserved this
season. Endru reached third place and once more showed his quality, bringing
him into the fight for a WDC Third medal…
Another trio, or even quadro were on the tail of each
other at checkered flag, with Tbran leading in Haas. Tbran had been in a strong
pace throughout the race and defended his position in fourth despite immense
pressure coming from Mrmccann in Ferrari. Mrmccann had his best result in
Ferrari with this, reaching fifth, and surely could have got P4 with the pace
he got, if there were enough laps. Rollie was just behind Mrmccann and he was
being followed closely by his teammate Dan in McLaren. Dan had his unlucky
moment where Gordini hit Tbran and bounced back on him, giving him a broken
wing and an extra pit. But the last SC helped him to finish somewhere where his
chances of getting above his teammate in WDC was damaged only minimally...
Rothnz the champ had an incident with
Leegoat after the exit of SC and this cost him a very comfortable last race for
the title. He finished 8th as a result and will be seriously challenged first
time on his way to a possible title in last race. Behind him was Selecta, using
a Singapore setup in Silverstone but still able to get a relatively good result
with P9. He was followed by his teammate Tuznani, who finished his second race
in a row in Williams and with a better pace this time. On P11 we had
Elgogetaman, once more able to reach the finish line and showed improvement of
pace as well. Cmrcnn was once more ahead of his all time rival Sir Ibbo at P12.
Leegoat was the last driver (barely) alive on track with P14 in Haas.
Butcher, Mass, Tan and Haggisnt were
eggplanted. We go to the season and game finale in Canada GP, with a %100 race
and a title fight between Rothnz, Cajoco and Haggisnt and a third medal fight
between Haggisnt, Altan, Rollie, Dan and Endru!
