SEA PARTS UP IN FRONT OF ROTHNZ ON SUZUKA TO GIVE HIM ANOTHER WIN and ALPINE THE TITLE!

Rothnz has taken maybe the luckiest of all his wins on Suzuka, with Leegoat spinning while leading in last turn, giving Alpine another double and the title in WCC with Endru coming second. Leegoat completed the podium by coming third eventually...

Endru was surely hoping to make a streak of wins but was overtaken by Rothnz before turn 1. Rothnz has extended his lead at the beginning with soft compund and took the chance to pit with the first SC. He was stuck in traffic after the pits and probably wasn’t hoping that this would be a win until last turn last lap, but Leegoat gave him a present by denying his first possible win this season in Redbull.

Rothnz was cheerful as always after the race: “Alright, where to begin..

I think i did a pretty well qualy but Endru beat me with 2 or 3 tenths, showing he got some pace here. I started P2 behind him and thought I needed to do something different than him if I would beat him today.

So i decided to start on softs and try to clinch the start, which I did.

An early VSC arrived and I was so close getting a DT when i was a little over delta so i needed to break to not get DT. Unfortunately Endru was pretty close to my rear and his front wing clipped my back which caused him some damage. It wasn’t good from me and i’m sure Otmar will have a chat with me about that later on. Im sorry Endru!

Well. Later on a SC appeared and I put hards on while most of the other guys stayed out.

I climbed from P12 up to P4 behind Dan, then pitted for Mediums while SC, and I was P7 behind Endru. Then Endru spun behind SC and I was P6… Then Dan and Altan collided infront of me and I was P4 with 9 laps to go.

Haggish and Keon was infront of me on Hards, both with penalties. And Leegoat was 1st with same tyres and wear as me, so I thought P2 was a good result for me.

I mean... I made myself good conditions for this seasons so I just need to be up there for the rest of the races, but I dont need to win every races that is left…

I overtook Haggish and Keon and hunted Leegoat. I saved ERS to last lap but Leegoat didn’t made any mistakes so I couldnt overtook him. Until last turn!

Leegoat decided to spin in the last turn and gave the win to me.

I feel so bad for Leegoat, he truely deserved the win this time.

GG to everyone, it was a funny race. Hope more guys will cross the line next race. Oh. It’s Singapore.

Behind podium there was Keon, paying for his 3 seconds track limits penalty. The first five had an entertaining battle until the second half of the race, which promised a different result this time but… The battle for the medals has gone even more intense, with Endru closer to a silver and Keon and Leegoat battling hard for the bronze.

Dan finished P5 after a controversial contact with Altan, bringing him to P6 in WDC, sitting behind Haggisnt. Haggisnt once more extracted the most out of his Aston and finished P6. Rollie came seventh, while could at best get close to top 5 after a broken wing, but was still satisfied by lapping his teammate and climbing above Atwinke in WDC… He was followed by Selecta who finally was in the right universe to finish a race, giving Haggisnt a teammate he craves for. Atwinke once more showed that he can’t deliver when there is a certain degree of pressure, getting overexcited with the possibility of lapping Altan, spinning at the exact moment blue flags were being waved. Kingdom finished 10th, finally getting rid of his eggplants which he carried on to his vacation in Monaco (True story). Cmrcnn finished 12th. 13th was Tvoje_mamkacz, who has finished a race first time in A1881 together with Callmegogeta at P15, getting used to being on grid. Tvoje borught important reserve points to Alphatauri where Cajoco was missing and Mrmccann tasting a bitter eggplant. Butcher finished P14, showed probably the best pace of himself in here, falling in love with legendary Suzuka. Sir Ibbo finished 16th.

Altan has been the last driver on grid who is (barely) alive, falling back on track while spinning after his contact with Dan. This led Mrmccann to end up at the back of him which gave him a dnf and Altan the red wing, which he uses as an excuse for being lapped by his teammate… Yes… Excuse… For… Being lapped lapped by his teammate… Me…

Ebird was another unlucky driver to DNF, hitting Atwinke when he lost control at start and getting an early retirement. Tuznani and Ekremugur were also eggplanted.

We expect another intense race next sunday on Singapore, with hopefully Rothnz not winning this time…

SV5 MASTERS THE CARNAGE AT JEDDAH SEASON OPENER

The Saudi Arabian GP kicked off the new season in brutal fashion, with SV5 taking a commanding win under the lights of Jeddah ahead of Bards and his teammate Selecta. The podium set the tone for a chaotic opener that was a likely scenario for Jeddah, more so when cockpit cam is forced...
