ROTHNZ SECURES THE MOST DESERVED TITLE IN SINGAPORE!
Rothnz added a new way to his wins, under wet conditions with a geniuos strategy, and became the champion of A1881 a third time… Leegoat was behind him in Redbull, ahead of Dan’s Mercedes...
Gordini was on pole in Alpine to replace missing Endru but
was soon overtaken by Dan, who was able to defend the lead until Lap 14. He then
was overtaken by Gordini and Leegoat in T1. Then the rain started falling and
with more safety car laps done than not, Rothnz again was with the better of
strategies, staying on inters while almost everyone did an extra pit for wets,
and to his taste the rain got lighter which gave him the win and the title. He
didn’t even need the win for this title today with his teammate and closest
rival missing, but he chose to win once more. Cruel cruel guy this one...
Leegoat extracted almost the most from Endru’s absence and
placed himself 5 points ahead of Endru, giving the prospect of him, Endru and
Keon a fierce fight in Interlagos for securing P2 in WDC. Dan was quite good at
defending until the end of first SC and even were more promising when it started
raining, but he had to settle for P3, again showing that a podium place needs
to be reserved for the rainman if it's raining
Keon has taken his third P4 in a row, keeping himself within
the battle for P2, despite with a slimmer chance. Ebird was finally able to
finish a race, giving more than what the Haas can give and taking fifth. He was followed
by Tan who showed good shape, and kept the Tan train going with around 5 cars
tailing behind him for some 15 laps in the first half of the race, and eventually was able to finish 6th.
Altan made the wrong streategic calls again and stayed on full wets for more
than needed, making him vulnerable in
the last 3 laps and falling from 3rd step to 7th. Mrmccann finished 8th,
showing his familiar consistency and was followed by Haggisnt, who was around
the top most of the race until his unfortunate spin. Some 15 seconds behind him
in P10 was Rollie, becoming the victim of many incidents he was involved, the most notable being by Dan, ONCE MORE in
Singapore…
Sir Ibbo have seen many different positions during race, at
some point was around P3, but finished 11th, which is still enough to keep him
above his rival Cmrcnn. Gordini was the hope of millions to end Rothnz tyranny,
but was unfortunate in the indicent with Altan and Ebird, giving him a lost wing
in the last laps and finishing 12th. Cmrcnn was the last driver alive on track
with P13.
Callmegogeta, Selecta, Butcher, Atwinke, Tvoje, Cajoco and
Kingdom were all egpplanted.
The excitement of the battle for P2 between Keon, Leegoat and
Endru; P5 betwen Haggisnt and Dan and the WCC battle between Redbull and
Ferrari for P2 and Alphatauri and Mclaren for P4 will be concluded in legendary
Interlagos next Sunday!
