LEEGOAT CLINCHES HIS FIRST WIN AT A1881 AND SECURES SECOND PLACE IN WDC ON BRAZIL GP!

Legendarygoat with Redbull has reached his first win in A1881 at season finale, giving him his first medal. Dan was in second place and Altan reached his first podium this season thanks to Endru’s spin on last lap...

Leegoat was able to take pole after wet qualifying but was hunted by Dan at start. He regained the lead after a few laps and was relatively comfortable until Endru ended up in his tail. After a breathtaking battle for P1 on track and P2 on WDC for more than 10 laps, Endru lost the car at the exit of Turn 2 and then it was only about bringing it home for Leegoat… This gave the long term driver of A1881 his first win and first medal, and the joy of giving his first post-race interview:

“Starting from quali, it was hard because of the weather first and foremost. Thankfully the race was dry otherwise i'd have had problems. but yeah. Dan got a G R E A T start somehow and i could tell he had higher downforce how easy he took it in sector 2. thankfully though i had a setup for desperation (it's literally called despbra for "desperate brazil") with some changes to suit the RB. Endru was flying and that's when i had to pick it up. i was a little surprised how he kind of got stuck behind me, then spun. which sucks. i wanted to fight for the win not take it like a freebie. not to mention the influx of safety cars. I actually almost died because my parents decided to talk to me about cutting the grass. the last sc was my saving grace 💀

The season was great. the Alpine team was OP. It's always a good combo to be fast and in a good car. likewise they are and continue to be the ones to try and beat. i'd like to continue fighting them next season, just hopefully  more people can join. Any time i started near the alpines it felt like a 1v2 which was exhilarating yet stressful. Made me forget we were all playing a half baked game for a second. P2 is nice to get after my Ps5 breaking on my and my ps4 having to step up lol. Overall in my opinion everyone did really well with what they were given. i hope i'll get another win with a lower rated car as well (and Rothnz gets mostly P2s vs it being me, Keon, Dan, Ebird or Endru). but overall i think the season was great. drivers were even better. the only real thing that blows is the game itself which barely knows how to run half the time…”

Dan was under pressure from Altan in the last few laps, to try secure the podium. But then he was relieved to see Endru spin and Altan have a time penalty, giving him his best result this season and third podium and P5 in WDC. Altan tried an immature attack on Dan in last lap, which could have made him give away the podium to his teammate, yet managed to stay 0.8 ahead and reached his first podium this season. With this result he finished 8th in WDC, BEHIND HIS TEAMMATE ROLLIE, which ended the discussion of who is better… Yes…

Rothnz the GOAT was in 5th place BEHIND Rollie, some 26 seconds behind. Very behind. Yet the tape guy set the fastest lap once more. Behind him at P6 was Atwinke in his Alfa Romeo, having a few incidents but managed to stay still close to top and making him finish the season above his teammate Tan.

Mrmccann finished 7th, becoming the victim of a careless and clumsy act of Butcher during SC period, but was again in his comfort zone in terms of finishing positions this season, and became another driver to beat his teammate (Like Rollie did i mean). Kingdom finished 8th, failing to give enough contribution to Mercedes to finish above Ferrari at least. Selecta finished 9th, despite being at P3 at some point in race. P10 was Endru after his spin in last lap, where he was pushing to hunt Leegoat for the medal for P2 in WDC, but had to settle with the bronze medal after this costly spin. Tuznani was not classified for racing in wrong car and as a result Cmrcnn has been classified as 11th, making him give enough contribution to Redbull for finishing the season above McLaren. Butcher once more had a good pace yet finished the race at P12 as the last driver alive on track…

With these results, we finish the Season 7 in A1881 with Rothnz and Alpine are dominating, which will be taken care of hopefully today at CAS…
