LEGENDARY SUZUKA GIVES THREE WINNERS IN ONE RACE!

Japan GP gave A1881 three winners in one race with AA_Mejg crossing the line first in his Visa RB while CPI_Jordan in Sauber becomes classified as the winner after a dubious time penalty to Mejg’s name. Meanwhile Endru the youngster claimed his second title in a row by giving his bare minimum with P9. Bhavish had amazing pace and was classified as P2 with Aston after Mejg’s penalty…

AA_Mejg has been declared as the official winner after removal his time penalty by the FIA...

Race began with another alien pole time from Rian in Williams. He lost the car over a curb early in the race and this left Mejg, Jordan and Bhavish battling for the lead. Mejg kept himself outside the DRS zone  for a long time of Jordan after his undercut and was able to see the checkered flag at first place, only 0.7 seconds ahead of Jordan. But he was struck by a seemingly meaningless 10 seconds penalty to his name for an illegal overtake to a lapped car, which he appealed right after the race. This shaped the provisional results as Jordan at P1, Bhavish at P2 and Mejg at P3. Jordan gave the interview as the current official race winner but he himself admitted in fair play that Mejg should be classified as the winner:

CPI_Jordan: I didn’t feel very happy with the car as it just didn’t suit this track. In the race it was better than in quali manageable, and we should’ve had a last lap battle between me and MEJG today. However, issues with nonsense illegal overtakes for both of us interfered with the race. I didn’t win today in my opinion as the pen should be removed for MEJG, but the fight for P2 in the championship lives on…

Mejg cautiously avoided microphones after the disappointment with penalty gave his interview after FIA decisions to declare him the official winner:

AA_Mejg: It was a very good race for me even though this was my first time driving at Suzuka on the F1 24 game. Thanks to my good friend and rival Jordan I was given a competitive setup. I didn't have many battles since I managed to break out of the DRS due to battles behind. But I was of course pressured to maximize the pace of my VCARB lap after lap to stay out of the DRS range from Jordan and Bhavish during the first stint. The second stint (on the hards) felt good as well. Nice pace and consistency. Very tough last few laps struggling with fuel, but Jordan helped me a bit with the fuel when he caught up to me and then we battled it out the last couple of laps.

Meanwhile, Endru the young champion of A1881 has claimed his second title in a row, becoming the third driver to be able to do that in this challenging CAS system, after Rothnz and Haggisnt. He was once more mature and cool headed to celebrate this big accomplishment, while also eyeing for further titles:

Endru: It was a good season surrounded by great drivers. I got a very good start of the season which gave me enough momentum to win the title, i am really looking forward to next season which should be even more interesting with CAS, i hope my 2nd title won’t be my last in A1881...

The season review will include more about how the season went, as we look at what happened behind podium in yesterday’s race. Dunce was the driver to follow the podium trio in his McLaren, showing once more very good pace combined with his improvement in staying out of trouble and penalties, climbin P4 in standings which can even turn out to be P3 if the winner changes after FIA decisions. Heading into the Season Finale with a possible shot on a medal is a big success in his relatively new challange of no-assists racing and he will definitely be more dangerous in the following seasons with his late form.

Rollie finished P5 in Ferrari, after a long battle with Rothnz in Haas and was able to finish ahead of him on track. Rothnz seemed to struggle especially at second stint and is heading to one of his very rare seasons ending without a win, if he can’t do it in season finale. Tvoje once more had mediocre pace in Visa RB, yet together with Mejg’s reserve contribution, they have an eye on WCC title. Behind Tvoje at P8 we saw Naedangerdavid in Mercedes, seeming a bit rusty after the his break last week, but still has a chance on a possible medal for both WDC and WCC. Endru finished P9 and secured his title as mentioned above, with his lowest finishing position this season. Dan finished 10th in one of his favorite tracks, having an incident with Endru’s touch from behind early in the race but he recovered relatively well. With this result he guaranteed being beaten by his teammate Rollie this season, who is by far the worst teammate to be beaten… Eheheheheh…. TarkanGino finished P11 and finally looking for a top car season after his patient 1.5 seasons in Alpine. Vedaboi finished P12 in McLaren, even though he had a very strong pace in his first stint but his race went upside down beginning from his mistake in the pitlane. Selecta the bucklingunderpressure Dutchman finished P13 and whined and whined about the game, the drivers, how the universe operates and everything, after losing his chances of a title in the penultimate race… He gave a good fight against a very strong Endru and avoided an earlier securing of the title but, sometimes you gotta sleep on it abi… Atwinke came back on grid first time after 22 game reserving in RedBull and finished ahead of all the drivers he needed to, including his teammate, with P14, which is promising considering how rusty he is. Slowfiveohh finished P15 in Alpine in his second reserving. Crunchypancake finished P16 in RedBull. Inginne was the victim of a very rare mistake coming from Sir Ibbo at start, but still was able to get rid of his double eggplants by bringing his damaged Haas to finish line. Sir Ibbo once more was the last driver alive on track.

Rian and Justin were the only eggplanted drivers of this week. We are heading to COTA next week for Season 15 finale, while two WDC and one WCC medal still waiting for their owners!
