HAGGISNT BRINGS ALPINE WCC TITLE AND HAS ONE HAND ON RIANC’S CROWN WITH A GRAND SLAM ON SILVERSTONE!

Haggisnt had a perfect race to bring Alpine a WCC medal and climbed on top in WDC heading onto the Season Finale… Rianc gave his best in Alfa Romeo but was just 0.1 short of Haggisnt’s pace at finish line… Naedangerdavid had his first podium in A1881 in McLaren…

Haggisnt began on pole under wet conditions and led the race until the first SC with Naedanger behind in his McLaren. At the exit of first SC, Naedanger did a mistake into T4 and Rianc started to chase his title rival. The trio kept within 1 second of each other until the second SC to be triggered by Leegoat. After the exit of last SC in L18, Rianc pulled away from Naedangerdavid and began establishing constant pressure on Haggisnt. But Haggi delivered a flawless drive after starting on pole to lead every lap and set the fastest to fulfill a grand slam and to bring Alpine to finish line in front, only one tenths ahead of Rianc…

Haggisnt: The race was a pretty nervous one for me. I hadn’t done any wet practice and I hadn’t done a wet race in a while, but on the other hand I knew that the Alpine has good low speed and has tyre wear compared to Rians Alfa so the rain was a bit of a blessing, especially after seeing Rians ridiculous TT time in the dry. Naedangerdavid was also flying yesterday and it was a close race and very close qualifying between the 3 of us. Only a couple points between me and Rian going into the last race, and I’m hoping to finally get my first championship, may the best man win. 👑

Haggisnt and Rianc gave us another thrilling, hard but fair racing as they head to season finale with Haggisnt only 3 points ahead… This win of Haggisnt also brought him his second medal by claiming WCC title together with Keon and Cajoco’s half-season contribution and made Alpine all-time most successful team of A1881 with 5 WCC titles…

Naedanger deserved a seperate paragraph, finally being able to drive a competitive car while wildcarding for Tbran. He set a fascinating quali time together with Haggi and Rian and spiced up the battle in front until the last stint. When the incredibble duo ahead started to disappear he took a safer approach and brought Tbran his best result this season.

Dan the rainman showed glimpses of good old days in his home GP, coming 4th in Aston. He was followed by Rothnz the GOAT in Haas, despite becoming the victim of Rollie’s spin and even having a DT mid-race. Selecta in Williams also was better than his dry performance, defending his position hard but fair on last lap in Stowe against Rollie. He was followed by Burtay at P7 in Ferrari, having one of the rare races to finish ahead of his teammate… Keon in Alpine contributed the team by coming 8th when it mattered to reach his first medal in A1881 by winning WCC… Tvoje benefited from Rollie’s greed-related spin and finished P9 in his first race as full time in McLaren, also helped his team climb above Ferrari before last race. Rollie messed it up at first and last lap, after a risky attack on Selecta when the door was closed and ended up P10, to weakan his chances of precious third place medal over Rothnz seriously...😭

Elgogeta finished P11 in Mercedes, showing steady driving again. He was followed by Bhavish in Aston in his full time debut. Inginne was able to finish his first online race at P13 under these difficult conditions and brought Redbull reserve contribution. Sir Ibbo was safely P14 in his AT, followed by Jonboi in the other Redbull. Cmrcnn was the last driver alive on track in Alphatauri.

Magnelman, Leegoat and Valward were all eggplanted. Altan had to retire in pits in Lap 1 due to an emergency.

We are heading to Season 11 Finale on China next week, with a fierce fight for the crown and P3 medal awaiting us!
